New Banks Road Estate w/Htd Pool, Pink Sand Beach, Walk to Restaurant/Bar

Welcome to The Better Life and Cottage. This newly constructed home (will be completed April, 2024) offers a gorgeous heated pool with a gazebo. (There is a $50 per night fee to heat the pool.) It is located on the prestigious Banks Road of Governors Harbour, the most desirable location on the island. Better Life is a two-minute walk down a deeded path to spectacular pink-sand Poponi Beach, one of the most sought-after beaches on Eleuthera. There is excellent snorkeling right off our beach. Bring your snorkel gear!

A three-minute walk down that beach takes you to La Bougainvillea boutique resort with its excellent beachfront restaurant and bar. A four-minute drive takes you to Tippy's famous beachfront restaurant. Island Farms market is just 5 minutes from the property. It offers fresh produce plus homemade breads, cinnamon rolls, jams, jellies, dressings, pesto, salsas, and so much more. Governors Harbour, the main town on the island, is just eight minutes away by car. Governors Harbour has restaurants, grocery stores, gift shops, liquor stores, and a great fish fry every Friday night.

Better Life is reverse living at its best. Open floor plan upstairs with views of the Atlantic Ocean. There are two decks, one facing the pool and the other facing the ocean. Better Life features a great room with 15-foot ceilings, a spacious living area with a large sofa, comfortable for sleeping, but not a sleeper sofa, and a dining area with table seating for eight.

The kitchen boasts all stainless-steel appliances and quartz countertops. There is also a quartz counter top Island that seats 4 with views of the Ocean. There is a powder room off the great room. The floors upstairs are all Avalon porcelain pier tile.

Step out on the deck that faces the pool and there is a stairway down to the pool deck and the barbecuing area beside it.
From the great room, descend the stairs to the lower living area.

This floor has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. There is a laundry closet with washer and dryer. Provided to make things a little easier while you are on vacation.

Off the hallway there are 4 bedrooms. The master offers an oversized closet with king size bed and a dresser with mirror and side tables and a TV. The flooring in the bedroom is also the Avalon Porcelain pier tile. As you walk into the gorgeous en suite master bath, the flooring is all Lenox Grey Porcelain. The shower has a beautiful glass mosaic design with Bianca polished walls tile. The shower floor has a nice Sahara sand matte porcelain finish. There are French doors off the bedroom to the front porch facing the ocean.

The first guest suite also features all Porcelain pier tile flooring. It enjoys its own en-suite full bath with the same detail as the master bathroom. This room has a queen bed with dresser and nightstand and mirror and a TV. There are also a set of French doors that leads to a deck that is finished with pink coral tiles.

The two guest bedrooms on the pool side have French doors that lead to a gorgeous porch with pink coral tile overlooking the pool,. These bedrooms have the same Porcelain flooring throughout and are joined by a jack and Jill full bath. These rooms are complete with queen size beds, dressers, night stands, and TV's.

The Better Life also has a one-bedroom guest cottage across the pool from the main house. The cottage has a full kitchen, living/dining area, one bedroom with a king bed, and one full bath. The cottage has a queen size sofa bed in the living room.

Amenities include WIFI, AC throughout, 5 smart TVs (but no satellite or cable), gas grill, and a back-up generator.
