Didnt see a single member of staff. Front door was locked upon arrival, rung the doorbell, tried the two different numbers on the door and the one on their website, no answer. 10 minutes another guest let us in the door as they left. A list of names and room numbers were scribbled on a piece of paper on reception. We took ourselves to our room which was unlocked with the key inside. Room was VERY basic, dated and in need of some TLC. A lady returned my call about 15 minutes later, the person on the other end of the phone answered with "yes"... I said pardon, she said "yes". It was only because i recongnised the number that I said we were tryung to check in but someone else let us in and weve found our room. She aort of apologised and sais she was in the shower... During check in hours? On checkout we left the keys in the box on the reception guest, again no one was about.
Room comfortable, unfortunately the room key did not have the entrance key attached which required assisted admission on return to the Hotel. The bathroom extractor fan worked but no light. Also no reading lamp available.
Arrived at hotel no staff. Lady also checking in called number displayed 15mins later member of staff arrived.
Taken to my room which was in poor state.
Tv not working no wifi curtains coming off curtain pole
Blood on the pillow, poo stains on the towel, no one to help out with these. Bed was so uncomfortable and only got a few hours sleep. Wonât be coming back
This is not a hotel. Upon arrival there was nobody present just a phone number on a locked door. The woman who answered my phone call claimed no knowledge of my name nor my hotels.com booking reference (even though hotels.com had collected payment and issued a booking reference). I had to book/pay for a different hotel. Hotels.com offer no means to address this fraud. It appears to be a scam.
