Casa Calmate, Walk to Surfing Beach
Charming cozy house is in the heart of Guiones, G-section of Nosara. Just 4 min walk to the amazing restaurants, shops, beach and so much more. Perfect location for getaways, surf trips, or just a great base while you are out exploring everything Nosara has to offer. Unbeatable location that is right in the middle of everything, surf break, spas, yoga studios, grocery, and boutiques. Therefore, no need to rent a golf cart or ATV for your stay.
Casa Calmate has 2 bedrooms with A/C: the master, has a queen bed with a spacious closet. The second bedroom has bunk beds and dressers for storage. There is a new, renovated bathroom that is outfitted with slate tile flooring, a glass shower partition, and a show bench. The spacious kitchen has granite countertops, a gas stove, and an oven, well stocked with cookware, appliances, and knickknacks and ample storage. Everything you will need to whip up some great Costa Rica food!
Outside, is the real heart of Calmate! The beautiful outdoor 300+ sq ft covered patio with inlaid tropical hardwood that is framed by lush jungle. It is furnished with a large teak outdoor dining table for 6, two beanbag cozy chairs with 3 sitting chairs, and two lounge chairs. The space is great all day long because it is well-chilled with two industrial ceiling fans. The outside patio leads to the pool which is lined with bright blue tile, with lots of seating nooks for relaxing and escaping the midday heat. Edison lights are strung high above the pool which makes for a perfect late-night ambiance into the late hours. Beyond the pool is an outdoor shower with a rainfall style shower head.
Yes, Grace was helpful and stayed in touch. The location fits our needs as some family members stay at Casa Romantica, a short walk away. We love your house and family members have stayed there four times over the past several years. Thank you for sharing it.We'd like to bring a few things to your attention. The hassocks by the pool were ripped, and appeared to be so for quite a while. The two plastic recliners by the pool were cracked, which was potentially dangerous for your kids.We were without internet service for two days. Grace worked to get this fixed, but the inconvenience was impactful for those who had to do some work while on vacation. The pool filter was apparently broken for the last few days, which prohibited the young children from swimming. (The water was extremely cloudy and the filter made loud noises.)The small, square hassocks are potentially dangerous as they sometimes tip over when people sit on them. Thought you should be aware of this as one family member fell backward, though without injury. Thank you for seeking feedback. I hope this helps as it is well intentioned. Also, these observations were combined with a daily increase of 200 over last year, which puzzled us.
