Attended the hotel nearer to midnight for checkin, but no space to park my car park so instructed to park on road which was fine as it was Sunday. We hadn't paid for breakfast but it was offered at checkin. Our problem was the heating in the room was hurrendously hot with no way of isolating the radiator in our room to turn it down. The weather was awful and facing the main road it wasn't the best nights sleep as we needed the window open to release the hot air. I was going to mention this in the morning but when asked about checking out was told to put the keys in a pot.
The mattresses were not the best either. If you're looking for a one night stay this hotel is perfectly fine but I wouldn't want a second night myself.
Not much parking. Reception didnât know about availability of street parking or cost?
Not offered WiFi password , or any of the mealtimes. Yes I can easily find out, but itâs nice to be told these things on arrival. If you get a room at the front of the hotel be aware of lots of traffic noise as well as a pedestrian crossing beeping endlessly from about 7am onwards !
The room was awful , no window just a small top vent and a fire door that was supposed to remain shut
The shared bathroom was vile the door was hanging off the toilet became blocked and the shower over flowed
I would never stay here again
Its more like a hostel than hotel, tired facilities are one thing but it was dirty other peoples hair all over the bathroom pretty grim for over ÂŁ70 a night
Room was roadside next to constantly beeping pedestrian crossing (all night), this wasn't the property's fault, but the glazing/window seal was really poor, so no noise blocking.
