This Art Deco period home was recently updated, keeping the charm and character original to the property. Enjoy relaxing in this light filled home, with east, south, and west-facing windows. Spacious, eat-in, kitchen with stainless steel appliances, beautiful stone countertops, and detailed Art Deco period details and backsplash. The bathroom features include large sit-in shower with twin rain shower heads and period tile work. Large master bedroom with king bed, high-boy dresser, and walk-in closet. Charme et confort à proximité de San Francisco et delà plage

Une trĂšs belle maison trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e avec une super douche Nous allions Ă  San Francisco en bateau avec achat du billet en ligne 8 min voiture ou bus et 20 min de bateau et vous ĂȘtes directement dans le cƓur. Alameda est une charmante ville ensoleillĂ©e avec un petit centre et une jolie plage avec vue sur SF (au bout de la rue). Nous avons passĂ© 5 superbes nuits et avons visitĂ© SF er Stanford. Je vous conseille vraiment ce trĂšs bel endroit . Margaret a Ă©tĂ© adorable et rĂ©active. Merci pour ce beau moment en famille.

We Lived the Bee House!

This is the most charming abode. It’s surprisingly spacious inside! The bathroom is wonderful, as is the kitchen. Super comfy bed, and you can’t beat the location! We had zero trouble parking in the street just steps from the front door, and could walk to coffee shops, restaurants, the movie theater
And the central AC is a major benefit! Considering the location next to a busy street, we were amazed at how quiet it was inside. We really loved this little gem, and will definitely be back!

This was our second stay at Margaret's charming place and it was just how we remembered it, Perfect! Great location, easy parking and fun location. From the moment I checked in to the moment I left, I felt like I was in my home away from home. The home was meticulously clean, cozy, perfectly located, and had all of the necessities including toiletries and kitchen needs you could possibly need for a week-long stay. The only challenge was street parking.

Very nice 1 BR in convenient Alameda location, with plenty of room for a couple. Everything was very clean and kitchen and bath had been recently updated. Communication with owner was easy and efficient. Even though the unit fronts onto a fairly busy street, it is very quiet inside.

Sunny Loveliness with Character

I initially chose this property for its AC - the only Alameda option available with AC, at the time. Lucky me! This gorgeous duplex was so beautiful with its bountiful house plants and art and the architecture itself. I particularly appreciated the natural light streaming in from all corners of both levels. And it was great having a dryer in the basement. (Washer too, but I only used the dryer.) There are 6-7 steps up to the bedroom, to be aware of. The location is wonderful for Alameda walking - just a few blocks from a large park and also Park Street. This is an exceptional property!

The propert was clean and cozy and recently updated qith modern amenities. The location was perfect, and I was able to walk to Park street every evening after work. Adorable Art Deco

Enjoyed our stay immensely! It was our first time to Alameda. The place was spotless and comfortable. There was definitely an Art Deco 1930s feel with the decor. A walk in shower was much appreciated as we’re seniors. Wood floors were stunning. The owners responded in minutes when we needed something. Anything you need is within walking distance-a couple blocks. The walks were easy and we enjoyed seeing the gardens and yards. It’s apparent the people of Alameda work hard and love their community. We ate at a number of restaurants and were never disappointed. If I ever return to Alameda I will definitely stay there.

The *ideal* VRBO property/host

When I travel to the Bay Area, this is where I stay. The unit is very clean and well cared for, with everything you need for a short- or long-duration stay. Excellent, friendly hosts and a great location (short walk to Santa Clara Ave and Park Street, 1.5 blocks to bus with easy access to the Fruitvale BART station). I am happy to be a return guest at this wonderful property.
