Blue Cork Cabin just listed with Red Barn Vacations. We are sure to have a flood of five-star reviews on the website soon, but until then, we have no problem reassuring you: you're gonna love this home!

Blue Cork Cabin is the cutest cabin in Deep Creek Lake! This lakefront cottage has been updated with modern features and a cheerful, beautiful interior to be the perfect intimate escape! Thoughtful art galleries, beautiful displays, and curated book collections chase you from room-to-room, making it a space you'll want to thoroughly explore. Outside the home, you'll find an array of amenities designed to help you get the most of your Deep Creek experience. On the deck, you'll find a comfortable sitting area (with lots of pillows and blankets!), a gas-grill, an outdoor hot tub, and a portable wood fireplace. Take a short walk down from the home, along the home's private path, to the home's lakefront with a lake-facing fire-pit, dock, and even two kayaks for your use (bring or rent your own life vests). The home's lakefront features a stunning western exposure, setting the scene for magnificent lake sunsets and plenty of sun exposure throughout the day! The walk from the home to the lakefront is about one minute. If you'd like to explore the Deep Creek Lake area, you'll find the home is located near the very center of the lake with area hot-spots like Dutch's at Silver Tree, the Silver Tree Marine, the Harbor Bar, and Deep Creek Lake State Park mere minutes away. For small family getaways, girls' trips, fishing retreats, or romantic getaways. Blue Cork Cabin is definitely "the one!"

Great Vacation!

This cabin was so welcoming and cozy! The owners thought of everything we could have needed for our trip! We especially enjoyed the outdoor space and proximity to the lake. The setting was absolutely beautiful with the trees, flowers and water. Very relaxing and peaceful!

Overall a wonderful stay and great property

We had a bit of trouble getting into the property. The code we were given wouldn’t work. We couldn’t get in touch with anyone so we drove to the red barn vacations office to talk to owner who was very helpful. The place isn’t actually waterfront. There are two houses that block view of lake. You walk down a path between two houses to get to your dock. It was very clean and very cozy. We loved that we were able to use the kayaks provided. I would definitely stay here again. We had a great time once we got the initial kinks worked out.

Fabulous cozy updated cabin at the lake

We loved our stay at this cabin. Adorable layout and a great balance between the adult amenities (hot tub, outside deck, fire pit, boat ramp, full size kitchen/living room/comfortable beds and clean linens and children's indoor and outdoor play areas/lake slope entrance. Although we expected a more direct view of the lake, the wooded area around the cabin offered privacy and path to the lake, and the play area at the lake and around the dock worked out perfectly for our family. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate and it rained much of each day, so we spent more time in the cabin than expected. Even with this, the cabin was great for 4 adults and 2 small children who loved the bunk bed room. It does have only one bath, but it is quite large and also worked just fine. Staff were very responsive and even stopped by to help us learn how to effectively use the keypad. Overall, on the surface the cabin was clean, however, we had a few with allergies, and noticed the dust under beds/furniture and in the vents system that caused them challenges. We encourage you to consider a more thorough clean on a routine basis. Overall a 4.9/5 and we would stay here again, if/when we return for a summer lake visit.

Our Get-a-Way

What a wonderful cozy cabin and the property down to the water was absolutely perfect. It was always exciting every time we walked fown our path to our own personal dock and to see the beautiful water just waiting for us to jump in. The bedrooms were a little smaller than we thought but the overall ambience of the cabin was so relaxing and beautifully decorated and clean. It was a perfect location to stores, restaurants, and many activities. We would definitely visit again! Thank you for opening your home to us!

Ants & broken hot tub

The property was very nicely designed & decorated. We had issue with the Hot Tub not working this was one of our requirements when choosing a place and a huge disappointment when even after efforts were made to correct the problem to no avail. Also, the kitchen had ants which we didn’t discover until morning. The owner clearly knew it with ants trays hidden behind items in the kitchen. We would not rebook!
