This property was very dirty . The bed linen was dirty as well as the pillow . There was loud music on the floor . I did not feel safe there was no keycard in l enter after hours . Hotel had people smoking . Very far from location Boardwalk . Will not stay here again .

Rooms where run down dirty and what service they never cleaned our room . The first initial room that was given to us was dirty and run down and the second room given to us the bathtub stopped up with guck and hair from previous guest very disgusting and had to wait for a Plumer for a whole day because there is no staff on duty to address these kinds of issues on call. Save your money and headache and stay at the Residece in by Marriott you’ll definitely get what you pay for and you won’t be disappointed trust me . The hell with that dump !

There was nothing unique about the property.. We will not stay there again and we will not recommend this place to any of our friends. The staff was very unfriendly, except for the manager Gabby. The rooms were okay. We had a balcony,come to find out all the chairs were removed, so we couldn't sit on our balcony and enjoy our city view.On the internet was supposed to be a partial ocean view. The continental breakfast,was not very appealing or inviting. We chose to pass on that for obvious reasons. We wanted to enjoy the beach for a couple hours before leaving. Since checkout, time was 11 o'clock. When trying to enter our room at 1030, we were locked out. when asked the front desk Why? She said, it automatically locks you out at 10:30. When inquiring, why that is, the response that I receive is that's the way it is.

AC did not work properly in 90 degree heat. At least 10 electronic games each with their own music blaring 7 doors down form guest rooms demanded to be turned off as no one could sleep with the carnival of music. These machines should be turned off at 9 p.m. every night at the latest. The pool closed in the early evening...why not these machines? There was no maid service. For the money, and my expectations of la Quinta, we--my staff and I--expected better.

Unsure why no one has been upfront about the resort fee, which I got charged after my stay, when I thought Expedia had totaled everything. The cost of the stay versus the overall experience was very unsatisfactory based on the cleanliness, the odor, the willingness of the front desk staff to help, and the AC not being cool enough despite its lowest thermostat setting. Definitely not coming back. This is the only La Quinta location I will not dare return to or recommend.

Expected more from a chain hotel.

Pool, and deck around pool was dirty, floor in our room was also not very clean. The bed was comfortable and appeared clean. The water pressure in the shower was also lacking, enough to shower in but that was about it. Overall could have saved a few bucks and been closer to the boardwalk with other options.

Save your money, get a cheap motel.

Our reservation and paid deposit was not transferred to hotel. So we had to pay the current rate as opposed to the locked in. The room we stayed was terribly dirty. The coffee machine had a millworm come out when I tried to brew hot water for some hot chocolate. There was a bloodstain on the curtain. Handprints on the headboard and mold on the bedsheets. I told the front desk and they gave me a new room. It was better but felt as if the staff was not warm after. We asked for an extra towels, they gave us 1. Asked for extra trash bags, gave us 1. Breakfast was out if forks, asked an employee and she gave me 1. Each instance, my family was standing with me when I asked and each time was never asked how many I needed. Just a blank stare and turned away to return with 1 item. Ordered from the restaurant attached to hotel and they seemed confused of inconvenienced about a pick up order. $50 for 3 burgers no better than the McDonald’s across the street. The only redeeming experiences were the location and the girl at checkout. She was super nice.
