There's space for the entire family at Sharkfin 401, a five-bedroom, oceanfront penthouse with a 130-foot balcony overlooking the beach and the Atlantic Ocean.

This penthouse is wonderfully open and elegant, offering floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors that frame the oceanfront view. The fully appointed kitchen features stainless steel appliances, two dishwashers, and an adjacent dining space with two tables. The living room, which connects to the balcony outside, is a great spot for catching up with loved ones and watching movies on the flatscreen TV.

Additional amenities include air conditioning, two provided Pack 'N Plays, and a private washer/dryer.

Sharkfin is an oceanfront property in North Ocean City, offering fantastic proximity to Coastal Highway, great restaurants, shops, mini-golf courses, and other sources of entertainment and nightlife. Northside Park, the 58-acre complex with sports fields, a fishing lagoon, concession stands, two playgrounds, a picnic area, two piers, a gazebo, walking and jogging paths, and all sorts of annual events, is just over a quarter-mile west.

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Location was perfect, oceanfront with an amazing balcony. Condo is spacious. It would have been nice for them to provide a few beach chairs. There were stains on a couple of the bed comforters like they hadn’t been washed. The master bathroom shower does not work. Also there was an odor throughout the condo that we covered with febreeze a couple times a day. Otherwise we were happy with the cleanliness, the location and the space.

Mis-management by Vacasa - AGAIN

We decided to give a VACASA managed property a second chance after a horrendous experience in Hilton Head.(link) The same theme appears to have surfaced again with VACASA- they don't have respect for the vacation time of the renter. This time, a text informing us of a sprinkler inspection at 8am on Monday, our first full day of vacation was sent. Does VACASA think this is appropriate not only to tell the renter that someone has to interrupt their time on vacation for routine checks that could be done at another time but make it at 8am? This is the definition of poor customer service!!!!!!!! Then when we called the office to tell them we never got our response to rescheduling this to some other time, the person responding did not know what we were talking about. Then they came anyway while some of us were in the shower. UNBELIEVABLE!!! We would love to interrupt them on the first day of their vacation at 8am!! The property itself was nicely decorated, but the infrastructure did show its age and poor pest control was apparent. The air conditioner was a real problem. Although it did keep the condo cool, it made a terrible sound like an airplane engine, drowning out our conversations and the TV. Additionally, the condo did have ants in the laundry room and bedrooms. Nothing like having them crawl on you while you sleep and clean your clothing!! The location was excellent as it was away from the downtown traffic. If Vacasa did not manage or mis-manage this condo and

Happy New Year!

Had a wonderful stay with family to bring in New year together and celebrate Christmas. The location is terrific! The view from the balcony awsome! We hope to go back again next year!

Disappointed

The condo did not appear to have been occupied for quite some time. Very musty smell. Or importantly, the kitchen was essentially non-functional. No running water, refrigerator was broken, not functioning, microwave, taped shut with duct tape. Curtains in the master bedroom, multiple pieces down/broken. This allowed for a very bright sunshine early in the morning when we would’ve preferred darkness. Entry door lock did not work. I had to call management to get a new code took a while. There were some substitute dorm style refrigerators that couldn’t hold drinks only. And they substitute microwave on the counter. All of these issues appear to be problems for quite some time. This condo has not been kept up. Very unfortunate. Did not allow for us to cook meals in the condo.

we enjoyed our stay. The place was beautiful but WiFi didn’t work and we could figure out the lights/fans. They were remote based and the remotes were missing or didn’t have batteries / didn’t have backs. Check in was annoying since we had to stop and pick up parking passes, which didn’t even have the right information on them - and nobody called to clarify where we should park after we reached out. I won’t ever use Vacasa due to the outrageous VRBO fee that was completely unjustified (also won’t ever use VRBO again)

Great location, needs work

Pros: Location, views, kitchen, spacious living room area Cons: No fans worked (needed batteries), some lights didn't work (same issue), one of the beds was broken so it sloped in the middle, hard to get into the actual apartment, wifi password was incorrect in rental information (lacking of rental info), rental agency model was hit/miss as to getting answers With all that said, these are issues you can live with for a rental for a few days, depending on the cost (we were off season).

Very spacious. Beautiful views! some of the furniture was broken and lights in showers were out and we replaced. They had 6 coffee pots, 4 were broken. We swamped out crafts and lids to make a complete set. the previous renters left potatoes in the back cabinet, thank goodness we found and disposed of. Over all, a very nice unit. perfect for a large family!

Spectacular Vacation Getaway

This home was everything Great! Great views, Great size, Great location, Great , Great, Great!!! So happy to have stayed in this spectacular home. The pictures do it no justice. It was clean, modern, and beautifully decorated. Can't wait to schedule next year's vacation.

Lots of space!

This is a beautiful place, with tons of room, right on the beach. The only thing to be aware of is that one bedroom has French doors, with only thin curtains. It's set up as a kids' room, but kids need privacy too. And one bedroom has no windows. Otherwise, this is pretty perfect!

Family Beach Week

This property lived up to its billing. Fantastic beach views, room for all the family with comfortable beds and large community space. Property is half mile from high rises, making this beach must less populated, even though it is walking distance to most anything you want to do. Plenty of street parking if you have more than two parties meeting there. It is a beach venue, but I showed up on Father's day weekend and Golf's US open. The TV's must have been purchased in 2007 when the unit was built, it was smallish and not 4K. Bedroom TV's are useless. For a multi-million dollar property, it was the only item out of place.

The property was amazing spacious for multiple family get together, just on the beach. Amazing 120 degree view of Atlantic ocean. Only issue was trash can and fridge was not empty and had to ask them to pick up.
