Direct beach access in a quieter area iof ocean city but still walkable to restaurants and shops. They also had restaurants on site which were good. The atrium pool was nice when you wanted to escape the heat of the beach.

Loved our weekend away with our 18 month granddaughter, we had a ground floor room with access to the grass and ocean from our balcony and it was perfect. No having to walk through the hotel and up and down elevators. Will definitely stay again!! We had our service dog as well and it was very convenient to let her out.

Not worth the cost

For starters, the parking garage is TERRIBLE. Be prepared for extremely tight turns and hope the vehicles beside you park in their spot as straight as possible. The exit sign was so high up, i couldn't even see it. Luckily my passenger saw it. It would be very easy to drive the wrong way. The hotel itself needs better signage because it feels like a maize. On the 3rd floor, there are wires hanging from the ceiling tiles that were pushed in or hanging out. We stayed in room 316. The room was clean but we had electric outlets partially hanging out of the wall. The microwave and refrigerator were clean and well kept. I attempted to watch some tv and thankfully I had teenagers with me that could figure it out. It should never be that complicated. The pool definitely wasn't heated. I know the cool water feels good on a hot day but this was too extreme. When I went exploring to find beach access, I found out you have to go through the pool on the 2nd level and down steps to get there. Thankfully I didn't have our beach wagon at the time because that would have been impossible.

The property is like a maze, looks dirty, needs a fresh coat of paint. Elevators are awful. Extremely slow, smell and in awful locations (gets very backed up). One restaurant only open in morning. One restaurant for lunch and dinner. Lacking in food options and food is mediocre at best. Room curtains don’t close all the way so light always coming in room, pillows have about 3 feathers, might as well not give pillows. Beds not comfortable. Stove is extremely hard to work, had to actually call front desk for instructions just to turn on and that didn’t work. Finally piddled with it enough for it to work. Indoor pool kinda sucks, hot in the atrium like a sauna, not refreshing at all. Call front desk twice for room WiFi, password they gave didn’t work either time. Tv stopped working on 2nd day.

The staff was excellent, but the cleaning service was none existent. We didn’t know about the food options. No info in the rooms. The beds were old and lumpy. Need to replaced immediately. Sand on the floors of the room and the hallways. Had to wear shoes the entire time. Also had a mouse running in the room.

We loved that our room had a kitchenette equipped with a 2 burner cooktop, dishwasher and full sized refrigerator. The restaurant on the terrace overlooking the ocean was a show stopper. We can’t wait to go back!
