Canal Cottage: 5 Bedrooms - 3.5 Baths - Sleeps 12.

Enjoy the Best of Both Worlds!!! This Canal Cottage is located at the beach end of the canal in the center of the "T" so you can see down then canal and only a short 2 minute walk to the beach access. With awesome canal views from two decks; a dock on the canal; and an outdoor entertainment area complete with a hot tub; Sea Life's Beauty is the perfect vacation destination for your family, or golf & fishing group!

The kitchen features tile floors, granite counter tops, and a short counter bar with two bar stools. It has been fully stocked with new dishes, utensils, pots, pans, mixing bowls, mixer, spice rack, crockpot, electric griddle, and blender. The kitchen also has a coffee maker (Standard & Keurig), toaster oven, and garbage disposal. The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen and contains a mini bar complete with a wine cooler.

The family room features an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and a fireplace. You can relax while enjoying great views of the canal, surfing the web on the wireless network, or watching your favorite movie on the 60" flat screen SMART UHD-TV with a DVD player.

You can relax on the main floor or one of the decks while the kids enjoy their bunk-bed bonus suite upstairs complete with a sitting area, 48" SMART UHD-TV with DVD player or they can set up the game table for a night of Scrabble, Chutes & Ladders, Headbanz, or UNO.

When you are ready to take a break from the sun you can enjoy the outdoor entertainment living area downstairs which features a hot tub, hammock, sitting area, and a 48" HDTV. You will have plenty of room to set up a game of corn hole while you start up the gas grill to cook up your favorite vegetables, meats, and fresh seafoods.

The primary suite (1) is located on the main floor featuring a king size bed, 65" flat screen SMART UHD-TV, a canal view, and exit onto the main deck. This bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a stand-up shower.

The second floor has three bedrooms and a full bathroom. The bunk bed bonus suite for the kids is the largest bedroom upstairs with two double over twin bunk beds and a large sitting area with a 48” flat screen TV w/ DVD. This suite also opens out onto an upstairs deck which overlooks the canal.

The forth bedroom is located at the end of the hall and has two double beds.

The 5th bedroom located at the end of the hall across from the bathroom and has a double bed. *** Please note this room has a sloped ceiling and as a result is best suited for children. The room does not have a full size closet but does have a dresser and small footlocker closet at the end of the bed by the window. See pictures. ***

The laundry room is located under the stair well. It has a full size washer and dryer. A full size ironing board and iron are also located in the laundry room if needed.

The house was very well laid out, easily accommodated my group of 6 ladies! The host was the best! No questions went unanswered. Love the canal view, hot tub was very nice. Only thing I could think that could be improved was the queen bed was very firm, but some may like it that way. The remodeled bathrooms were very pretty! Overall a great place and will stay again.

Perfect!

We visit the beach with family once a year. This is the first home we have stayed at that we have all agreed we would return back to year after year. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked, the bedrooms are beautiful and spacious. The bathrooms were amazing! Being on the canal is our favorite spot; the kayaks and water toys were an added bonus. The downstairs hot tub and hangout spot is where we spent a lot of our time. You are a very short (easy) walk to beach access, which was great. There just aren't enough great things to say about this home. The hosts were super communicative, helpful, and very easy to get ahold of. Thanks for sharing your home!

Great vacation home in Ocean Isle Beach

We had a fantastic week at Collen’s home! The house is well equipped and conveniently located within easy walking distance to the beach. The kayaks are fun to explore the canals of Ocean Isle. The hot tub is cleaned regularly so felt very comfortable using it and was great to sit outside with a cocktail watching sports on the huge TV downstairs. The kitchen was very well equipped with just about everything you need to cook dinner for your friends and family. WIFI, Bluetooth speaker and all the TV’s worked great. They have chairs available for the beach but you might consider bringing your own if you are particular. All in all a lv awesome week at the cottage. Thanks Collen!!

Much to like here.

This is was our 6th visit to OIB in as many years and the 4th house we have stayed in. We've always rented canal homes. This one was special being on the end of the canal. It meant we had a short walk to the beach and a gorgeous view down the whole length of the canal. Docking our boat was easy because wind and current effects were minimal. It also means the house is oriented north/south instead of the more typical east/west canal side homes. There was no blistering afternoon exposure like many homes have. The host was quick and helpful with communication. The interior was was nicely and comfortably decorated. The fenced in yard was a great comfort to the 3 year old's mother. The home was large enough to accommodate our group of 5 adults and 4 children easily. The kitchen did not lack anything we needed. The newly remodeled baths on the main floor were terrific and much nicer than what is often found in beach house rentals. If we could change anything we would make check-out a bit later than 9:30, but, c'est la vie. It is a great house!

Plenty of space

Overall we enjoyed this house. I will post some details for those considering renting here. Walk to beach - super short walk. Glad we didn’t rent a golf cart for that haul as it would have been a waste of $. The beach access is via a lot of STAIRS. Know this when packing down your beach cart. Amenities: This house had more than we realized!! We were surprised to find beach chairs and umbrellas. Save your packing space and use what’s there (unless you just really love your own umbrella and chairs). LOTS of people had the Shibumi shades on the beach and that would have been better than umbrellas - the wind was INSANE this week. The kayaks were a hit and plenty of life vests to choose from. The outdoor space we LOVED! The hot tub, hammock, tv space, corn hole, all of it! The A/C kept up really well for a bigger house full of 5 kids and 4 adults. We had to bring our own sheets and bath towels. In the future that would be nice to not have to bring if they were provided. The beds were comfortable (the downstairs queen suite was definitely really firm though - maybe a memory foam topper would be a nice addition?). The kitchen was really disorganized when we arrived - but we were told the previous family left quite the mess so that may have been it. The cupboards were organized by the time we left though. Good stock of dishes and service ware. A lot of utensils for cooking in general / pretty much everything you need. Coffee pot AND a Keurig. Several options of toasters. Even a large electric griddle. The fridge is a good size (the freezer door was difficult to open but owner is now aware). Electronics - smart TVs in all rooms was really exceptional. Nice to able to utilize Netflix, etc. Plenty of places to charge phones, etc. All in all a great stay with plenty of room! My only suggestions to improve would be providing linens, maybe some more game options for families visiting.

A fine family week

No surprises. Very nice house and homeowners. The deck and downstairs outdoor living room were well furnished and enjoyable spaces also.

Best of Canal, Beach, and Great View

The view from the porch is beautiful at all times of the day! Close proximity to public access make it easy to come on and off the beach. Love this house!
