Paint splatters all over the floor and poor painted walls. Creaky floors. When the people above my room walked across the floor it sounded like they were in my room walking about. It made for an uncomfortable and lacking nights sleep. Had to walk through on building (house) to walk outside in rain to enter the next building. Towels were small and very poor quality and rough to the skin. Would not recommend.

Beautiful location. Helpful front office. Tabitha in was very helpful. Cons: Washcloths and towels were practically unusable because of their roughness and wear. Badly need replacing! Thankfully I had brought one washcloth with me. The bathtub was over knee deep with no safety bars. Did not feel safe climbing in or out of the shower/tub. Many delicious pastries, waffle, fruit, yogurts (no sugar free) and cereal choices for breakfast. Need to add protein (boiled eggs?) even if a pastry item has to be eliminated for budget. For diabetics, a couple small pieces of sausage found in a biscuit is not sufficient protein and thrown-away biscuit is waste. Tv would not adjust to live local tv channels, only streaming, so we missed our favorite shows and evening news. Awakened around 7:30 on several mornings by very loud, laughing cleaning staff outside door. This old hotel is a favorite of many but updates drastically needed. Won't return.

It was perfect. Only downfall were the millions of gnats mid Sept which is apparently mating season. We couldn’t even open our balcony door at all. So having an oceanfront without a balcony was sad. For my husbands birthday too. Wont come mid Sept again but would love to come back and use the balcony and not be swarming with bugs!!! Everyone was nice

This is an old facility that they have painted over. It has mold and smells. My wife and I both got severe head aches and she was throwing up all night. We could only stay one night and had to leave because of it.

The check in process wasn’t smooth. The lady that was there at the front desk wasn’t very nice or friendly. Packed professionalism and kindness. I asked for an email from a manager, never received it. Room was nice, clean—no complaints there and my praises to the housekeeping staff. On the balcony there was an infestation of little black bugs that flew..no one in my family was able to enjoy the balcony and the view. They were outside near each door and the parking lot on the cars. The breakfast was great, the staff that helped with the breakfast was very nice and kept it very clean. Checkout wasn’t the best, manager was present and when I asked a question she snapped and said they couldn’t email me their policies. Probably won’t stay there again, staff at check in and check out aren’t very friendly and can be rude when asking a simple question.

Our room overall was nice and clean. The couch was pretty old and dirty. The pool bar was never open. Not even the weekend. Housekeeping was very nice

We checked in at 330pm. Got to the room and it had a sour smell. The mini fridge didnt work and the blinds were broken. We got our swim wear on and checked out the indoor pool where it smelled like rotten eggs. We checked out the hot tub and only one jet worked. We overlooked all this and went to get dinner. We got home around 8 and the noise was insane. The walls are paper thin and the adjoining room had a screaming baby. The room above us sounded like they were bowling. We heard everyone coming and going on the stairs. We waited till about 9 and then called the office to see if we could change rooms. They were fully booked so we decided to leave at 930 and checked out. We had booked a two night stay and only were there for 6 hours. We drove 5 hours each way for 6 hours. I called the next day to see if it was possible to get a refund for the second day. They said the manager would call me back. Its been two days with no call or refund. I would not recommend staying here. The pictures online make it look like a five star resort but in reality it hasnt been updated since the 80's.
