Enchanting Spacious Beach House With Hot Tub, Game Room, Tiki Bar & Fishing Dock

Our Island House is at the end of a private beach peninsula offering various views of the Gulf of Mexico, river side, lighted fishing dock & surrounding area. Here you won’t deal with traffic or a crowded beach. To the west, after watching the breathtaking coral sunsets over the water you can see the glistening lights of the gulf coast casinos. The front balcony faces the beach with additional views of the Gulf. From our large back balcony you can enjoy the view of our fishing dock, fire pit seating area and surrounding marsh. The kitchen has a double oven, 6 burner gas stove with griddle. We also have a whole house water purification system. The back balcony runs the entire length of the house. On one side of the back balcony has a screened in porch with a large outdoor dining table. The hot tub is at the other end of the balcony just outside of the master bedroom. We have a large master suite with a huge adjoining bathroom including a Jacuzzi tub, oversize glass shower, double sinks and private toilet. The Crews Quarters has 2 sets of “hanging” bunk beds, a futon with a plush comfortable mattress & smart tv. The 3rd bedroom facing the beach has a queen size bed. We provide free (fiber optic) wi-fi. At ground level is our tiki bar “The Man Overboard” and gaming area. Gaming includes a pool table, ping pong, corn hole, darts, croquet, horseshoes and more. There is an outdoor shower and foot hose for rinsing off pets and people when needed. The historic town of ocean springs is nearby with many quaint shops, restaurants and art galleries. It was one of the ten finalists in Coastal Living Magazine's 'American's Happiest Seaside Towns 2015'. In 2021 it was named one of the friendliest cities in the Nation! If you decide to hang around the beach during your stay, there’s an endless list of things to do. You can fish from the beach or sit on our dock and throw out a line. We also provide several crab traps and a large pot for boiling your catch! Crabbing from our dock is a 24/7 experience. We provide 2 kayaks & paddles you can lunch from our beach or dock. For some exercise & adventure you can arrange for Amanda at 'Paddles Up' to deliver paddle boards right to the house. Or you can contact Captain Mike (our local favorite) for a boating tour to nearby Horn Island for some exploring, or a fishing excursion. He offers various options. Our Island House sits just across the narrow road from our private beach and private path (not directly on the beach) and backs up to the river/marsh side, so you’re not limited to just beach activities. Visitors return to this area year after year. Once you discover the beauty, nature and peace we offer.....we know you'll get hooked too!

Nice house with good beach view and a lot of amenities. The owners left a thoughtful gift bucket for us and our furry creature.Take some bug off and be prepared to climb 23 stairs with your stuff, but after that it should be pure enjoyment!

Quiet gulf and bayou

Our adult children met for a week and had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the quiet rural setting but also liked we could drive to beaches in Biloxi or Alabama. The kids loved crabbing from the dock and kayaking with the gators. The game area was also a big hit.

Quiet and comfortable

Well maintained and all the conveniences. It is at the end of a very quiet dead end road with access to the marsh and the ocean. There were many things to do right at the home or travel a short distance for art, dining, shopping. A great rental!

Island house

We spent Christmas here! The house is very spacious. The neighborhood is really quite, not much traffic. The host is really nice and super easy to talk to. My daughter and my dog sure did enjoy the welcoming gifts!! The little extra things they had in the house was really useful. Nothing to complain about. The kitchen was awesome and I love the stove!! We really didn’t leave the property.. the beach is clean. Can’t wait to rent this one in the summer :)

Wonderful Getaway

My significant other and I had an excellent stay at the Island House! Our last-minute getaway was facilitated by Christina, and we could not have asked for a nicer host. Our two dogs, an Australian Shepherd and Great Dane, came with us for their first beach experience. Our boys loved the house, the ground-level entertainment area, and the private beach. If you're looking for a cute, private, quiet, fun little property that is close enough to the bustle of New Orleans to make a day trip but still have beach access, then the Island House is for you!

Family vacation

We came to the area for our 1st time to cruising the coast.we wanted to stay on the beach. The island house is Awesome!! It is so cozy and all the amenities one could ask for. We could easily spend several days and not leave the rental.we loved every min of this vacation and would definitely be back again !Thabk you somuch for sharing your beautiful property!! Great Beach House for the Family

This is the second time I've stayed at this house. We love the house in general, but even better that it's on a quiet beach in a quiet neighborhood. It's a great place for the kids AND the dogs! (You may want to bring a tether if you bring doggies because it's not fully fenced- just fyi, but wasn't an issue for us.) We had a rainy day during our stay and used it as an opportunity to visit the Gulfport Aquarium. It's nice to have those options nearby. We will be coming back.

Breathtaking

Had a really good time with friends and family in this gorgeous, spacious house. The views from the house and on the beach were breathtaking. Kids never got bored. It was pretty neat to catch our own crabs right in the back yard. There was soo much to do. I would definitely go back in a heartbeat.

The privacy of this wonderful vacation beach house is a rare find, and exactly what we were looking for! There was so much to do between the beach, game room, hot tub, and crab trapping that we really never wanted to leave the place! The hosts were exceptional and responsive to all of our inquiries. Great Beach Getaway!

The house was so beautiful! It was clean, and the outdoor gaming area was a HUGE hit with the whole family! You're secluded, so there's plenty of privacy and quiet. The private beach was quite a treat, the only issue being that the water was pretty yucky, and there are no shells or anything to be found. There were, however, more crabs than you can shake a stick at, which delighted the kids to no end. My one piece of advice would be to make sure to bring bug spray, because those biting things were no joke! A small price to pay for the little slice of paradise away from the hustle and bustle. You're also fairly close to so many fun things to do and see. Christina was very easy to work with, and we would recommend her place to friends and family. Thanks for the memories!!

50th birthday family get away

This was a great grand finale to our trip. The hostess was very responsive to any questions we had. A pleasant surprise was the welcome message with a bottle of wine and a list of local places to shop, eat, and explore. My husband, our chef, cooked the most wonderful fresh fish in the kitchen. The layout of the home gave us all a place to be together and enjoy our time. We all laughed when we saw a small thing of bug repellant provided by the host, but we quickly understood the need. The outdoor recreation area provided our family of five lots of laughter and memories. There were a lot of thoughtful choices in the layout. We slept well and enjoyed our stay and the drive to and from this location.

Wonderful girls getaway

Overall property is very nice. Only a few complaints, the air conditioner was having trouble keeping the house cool. Contacted owner and she did everything possible to help. We cooked all our meals at the house so many of the pots really need to be replaced. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the property and our weekend stay.

Great trip!

House is beautiful! From one clean freak to many others, it’s always a little terrifying booking based on pictures but this place did not disappoint! Our beach dream got rained out but the screened porch and covered play area saved us! Stove is a chef’s dream with lots of gas burners and griddle! Only thing missing was a good snuggle couch blanket so bring your own and book this house!
