Located on the Oceano Dunes, this large 5-bedroom 3-bathroom beach front house is just a short drive to food and entertainment. Step off the patio and onto the Central Coast, where you'll find crashing waves and enjoy the beach bum lifestyle. Play a game of ping pong in the recreational room or enjoy a drink on the deck over-looking the gorgeous views, whatever way you like to relax, this beach house has you covered.
Take part in the daily fun of the Oceano Dunes with ATVing (bring your own or rent one nearby), horse riding, or sunset bonfires on the beach. Unwind by the fireplace and create lasting memories in your home away from home.This house accommodates 12 - 14 people with 4 king beds, a double bed with twin bunk beds, a queen, and double futon. Washer, dryer and a 4-car garage with plenty of room for your "beach toys" complete this perfect vacation spot. This area is among the most popular and unique of California State Parks. The 5 1/2 miles of beach open for vehicle use and the sand dunes available for off highway motor vehicle recreation are attractions for visitors from throughout the United States. Oceano Dunes is the only California State Park where vehicles may be driven on the beach. Four wheel drive / all wheel drive vehicles are recommended for driving on the beach and to the camping and off-highway vehicle use areas in the park. Beach wheelchairs are available for loan at the Pier and Grand Avenue entrances to the beach. Surfing, swimming, surf fishing, horseback riding and bird watching are popular activities. Just a few miles up the coast you'll find more activities like kayaking, cycling, wake boarding, board walking, wine tasting an so much more! Also close to restaurants, shopping and medical attention.

Great Views and Fun Group Home

This house location is amazing. It was a great place to celebrate my birthday with friends. Well stocked and clean. The house and decor itself feels on the older side but definitely worked for our needs and I would stay there again. It was spacious than I thought and I loved being right on the dunes with amazing ocean views.

Vacation was great as expected. Would suggest going straight through property management company rather than using VBRO which is a rip off in this circumstance and the amount they charge to do nothing is not right. We should be getting a refund on that, will look into what we can do. Otherwise house was great.

I could nitpick the cleanliness here and there but as you get settled in not a big deal, the location the view the space of the house the number of bedrooms and the covered parking very cool, will be back!

Sensational View

Really enjoyed thanks to massive King beds in 4 of 5 bedrooms, right-on-the-beach ocean view, and location. We read prior reviews and yes, the place is a little "funky" thanks to well worn furniture but...Its comfy. We would spend lots of time on the upstairs deck and actually spotted a whale. Some of our entertainment was watching all the cars/trucks/RVs get stuck in the sand. Enjoyed their problem solving for removing the vehicles. Took advantage of the fire pit provided (bring wood) and the very close proximity for walks on the beach. Our only criticisms are: 1) please get a LARGE sauté pan and pasta pot. We were a group of 9 and wanted to do pasta one evening but with the size of the pots available we had to use 2 vs. 1. Same with breakfast, 2 skillets had to be used vs. 1. 2) we did some wine tasting locally and it was great. We'd bring wine back for tasting in the evening and the wine glass selection was limited...didn't want to drink out of plastic wine glasses nor an overabundance of champagne glasses. I'm sure breakage is an issue but....please, better glassware. In spite of a few minor negative comments, we would book again.

Unsafe and awful property managers

This property has serious electrical issues. Appliances and outlets kept losing power and lights would flicker badly. We lost use of the dishwasher, TV, Internet, stove and more. We called the property managers daily who never seemed to care, sent an electrician once (after a long argument about how I need to be understanding and patient with issues like this) who didn’t fix the problem (it only got worse) and wasn’t wearing a mask.

Great house for our family getaway!!

We loved how the house was right one thr beach!! The kids loved waking up and going to play and it was great not going anywhere and to cook and eat as a family!!!!
