NCV D306 2BR 2BA 2-story Penthouse with breathtaking ocean, sand, & pier views.

With over 100 'beachfront' condos at North Coast Village (NCV) to choose from, it can be overwhelming. Here are a few tips for your consideration:

There are total 7 building groups from A to G. Each group is composed of a main 3/4 story building and 2-story cottages in front of the main building. Group A is standing alone from the other 6 groups separated by Breakwater Way. Entire NCV is beachfront. B and G just off Pacific Street are furthest from the ocean on the east end of the village. D and E are closest to the ocean on the west end of the village. C and F are sandwiched in between.

Location, location, and location:

Views: While the entire NCV is beachfront, the term 'ocean view' means day and night difference depending on the specific location of the unit.

Does west facing (like some D, E cottages) have the more desirable ocean view? Maybe. That is if you can handle the long hours of blinding sun glare in the PM. And it is totally dark during night time.

North facing units (odd number units) . Some have Oceanside Harbor and ocean view ( E, F, and some G units) and some have pool/garden views (D, C, and some B). In the winter, sun light may be a problem if you like the warmth of direct sun light in winter.

South facing units (even number units). Some have Oceanside Pier and ocean view (D, C, and some B) and some have pool/garden views(E, F, and some G). In the winter, direct sun light exposure is a big draw.

Noise and privacy can be a problem for units by the pool and walking paths. Street or train track noise can be a problem for some east facing units.

The best views are offered by units at higher floors and furthest to the west. That means the third floor units in D and E building.

The 3rd floor even number units in D building offer unobstructed ocean views to the southwest. D306 is one of the few in this exclusive locale. The 3rd floor odd number units in E building offer unobstructed harbor views to the north.

In general you get what you pay for. Contact the unit owner of interest to clarify its specific location. Zoomed-in Google Map may be helpful. A detailed North Coast Village lay out foot print drawing is available for your review upon request.

Share the pleasure of this sunny and well appointed, two bedroom penthouse condo with its fabulous, breathtaking, unobstructed and mesmerizing views of the Oceanside Pier and its palm tree lined beach. Enjoy the sights and the sounds of the breaking surf from inside every room and the balconies!

This coveted, highly selective location is reserved for the discerning few who want the very best setting North Coast Village (NCV) has to offer. Situated in the ocean-close D building, this south facing condo features 2 bed rooms, comfortable living/dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with granite counter and stainless steel appliances.

There are 2 ocean view balconies. These views are to-die-for. Breathtaking ocean, sand, & pier views all the way to La Jolla in a typical San Diego blue sky!

D306 is a 2-floor penthouse:

lower level - kitchen, living room, secondary bed room, a full bath room, and a balcony;
upper level - master suite with a large balcony occupies the entire upper level.

In the summer, you get to enjoy the summer breeze without the blinding sun glare. In the winter, you get the sun light strolling into your living area to warm your body and soul. And you get to appreciate the ambiance of sun setting into the southwestern sea with a glass of champagne right from the comfort of your own balconies.

The master retreat occupies the entire upper level, looking out to an expansive ocean-view balcony. Pelicans fly by daily. Thus we name the condo 'Pelican Watch Penthouse'. It is comfortably furnished for up to 6 guests. Master retreat has a king bed. The other bed room has two full size beds. Therefore the secondary bed room may sleep up to four people. Thus you may have the convenience of leaving the living room free from sleeping arrangement. In case that it works better for you, the sleeper sofa in the living room is queen size.

Both bed rooms are totally enclosed with doors for privacy. Please be aware that some other units still have loft-style master bed rooms where privacy might be an issue at times.

The condo is well equipped for beach vacation. Both bedrooms have flat screen TV, so does the living room. All three TVs are wired to Cox cable TV with most popular channels. The condo includes Cox wireless WiFi internet.

There are two nice beach chairs. Six large beach towels are furnished for your enjoyment. Generous towels and supplies are provided. Additionally, there are lounge chairs and tables in the court yard community pool area.

This gorgeous setting has magnificent, unobstructed ocean and sand views. The condo has many upgrades, including granite counters, 3 flat screen TVs, and comes with 1 assigned parking space. The living room TV is a Roku powered smart TV which permits streaming from your own accounts.

North Coast Village is a favorite destination for people around the world. Enjoy streams, waterfalls, Koi ponds, and fountains. You will feel like you're stepping into Maui! You are just steps from the sand. This is an oceanfront complex, and there is no street to cross to step onto the beach. You literally live on the sand!

Swim in the junior Olympic size heated pool (one of two pools and spas), or enjoy a romantic walk on one of the most beautiful stretches of beach in Southern California. Experience spectacular sunsets and enjoy a relaxing dinner along the picturesque adjacent harbor which features several excellent restaurants, great live music, and fun and unique shopping. There are also kayak, boat, and paddle boat rentals, and fishing or whale watching excursions.

North Coast Village offers billiards, ping pong, putting green, and a barbecue area overlooking the pool for parties. You will also find reserved garage parking; cable television; recreation center; clubhouse with kitchen, massive stone fireplace and cedar walls; laundry in buildings; and elevator access to all floors.

Wonderful location! We loved being able to see and hear waves crashing day & night, the parking, pool & jacuzzi are great, and the lush grounds are beautiful. Unit is well equipped for beach, has comfy beds & bedding, nice kitchen & lots of fans (helpful on a hot week!) Needed upgrades: New balcony furniture and updated lighting, decor, curtains & blinds would make this 5 stars. But overall, great place to stay!

Girls Getaway

We are four women that raised boys together. The boys are now 23 - 28 years old, so you can figure out how old we are. We took this trip as a fun, girls (no boys) trip with no cooking allowed. The property was clean and met every need we had. The upper patio area is very spacious and offers amazing views. The sound of the rolling waves can be heard from both bedrooms. So soothing!If I were to "live" there, would I change a few things? Of course! But for a week, it's a perfect option.

Such a great place if you want fantastic views and easy access to the beach. We’ve been coming to Oceanside for several years and this was the best place we have stayed in so far. All the pictures were very accurate and it was very comfortable for our family. We have already booked it for next year.

Oceanside

We had a great quick trip to Oceanside Dec 31-Jan 3. We decided to pay a bit more for this 2 bedroom unit because of the view it had, and it did not disappoint! The unit had everything we needed, and the view down the beach walk and of the water was beautiful! The complex has a heated pool and a hot tub, and it looks like they’re building another hot tub as well. Easy access to the beach, though the ocean water was so cold! It was neat walking out after the tide went down to look for shells. We had a nice relaxing stay, and would highly recommend this complex and unit to others.

Lovely Location by the Ocean

Our stay in the condo was very good. There are a few things the owner could do to improve a visitor's stay: more extension cords, more drinking glasses, new beach towels as the current ones are pretty worn. We held a family reunion at this condo complex with members of our family in other condos. The owner of this condo was very helpful. However, VRBO was not. The owner of this condo is rated a 5 (excellent), and I would rate VRBO as a 1(terrible).

Perfect Location

We love this rental, this is our 4th time staying here. Having two bedrooms/two baths is nice and having one of them "upstair" is even better. Views of beach/pier from all doors/windows. Being able to just park your car and walk to either the harbor for food/shopping or down to the beach is a huge plus for us. Penthouse is clean and stocked will all you need. Parking is great and close to the elevators. Location has so much to offer, pools, spa, weight room, pool tables, putting green etc. We think a perfect fit for us! George is also a great communicator and gets back to you ASAP. A++++++
