Røldal offers everything for daily life, stores and cafés. Røldal Stave Church from 1200 is also worth a visit. In Odda you can stroll through the beautiful little streets. The highlight of the area is of course the Hardangerfjord with Trolltunga and Dronningstien. In winter, the area is snow-sure and the nearest ski lift is within walking distance. Cross-country ski trails are also not far from the house.
