âą Want to enjoy more of a stay-cation, without leaving the gates of Gateway Mountain? Be sure to check out the community's very own amenities like the floating dock on Lake George, hiking trails, and gorgeous waterfalls! Note: As of May 2026, Lake George is closed until further notice and off limits to boating, swimming, fishing, and pet use.
Important to Note: The driveway is steep, but paved. During the colder winter months (from December through March), icy and/or snowy road conditions and delayed snowplow operations are possible within the development. We strongly recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles and travel insurance throughout the year, but especially for those staying in the Gateway Mountain development during the winter months. No parking is allowed on roadways or at gate entrances. No RVs, boat trailers, camping trailers, or trailers of any kind are permitted in the Gateway Mountain Community.
