Beach House in a fantastic location With Stunning Views.

The property has been completely modernised to provide a spacious comfortable living space.
Walk out of the patio or back door and a few steps will take you on to the safe sandy beaches of the Nature Reserve.
There is a large west facing private roof terrace with far reaching views over the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve.
Olhao,Faro, Cultura island and San Miguel mountain can all be seen in the distance.
The large private roof terrace is perfect for sunbathing, dining out and watching the wonderful Algarve sunset, also fantastic for star gazing.
There is a further south facing patio area outside the back door with a chimney style bbq, dining table with seating and a gate to the beach with a cold water shower.
There is a large outdoor sofa and table and chairs under the front terrace in the shade to keep cool .
All of the outside area's have lighting for sitting out in the lovely warm evenings.
There are 3 bedrooms and a wc located of off the main hallway.
A connecting privacy door takes you in to the large main living area.
Comfortable seating in the lounge has views through the triple opening patio doors over the beach and Ria Formosa.
A large modern bathroom with wc,bidet and walk in rain shower is accessed from this room.
A fully equipped modern kitchen and dining area were installed in 2024 with a door out to the side patio and bbq area.
The property has free wifi and multi channel tv .
We are 5 minutes from the ferry, shops and restaurants.

The house is for a maximum of 6 persons including children. We can supply a travel cot for babies. We cannot allow extra persons to stay and they will be asked to leave or we reserve the right to terminate your holiday without refund.

The property is self catering, we supply fresh bed linen and towels but not beach towels.


We have a very strict no smoking policy in the property. Please respect this as we do not want to have to charge you for a deep clean to remove the odour.

The house is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised prior to your arrival, we do expect you to leave it clean to avoid any extra cleaning charges.

Séjour trÚs apprécié !

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le séjour sur cette ßle particuliÚrement reposante. La maison de Trisha est trÚs agréable, notamment en raison des deux terrasses qui permettent de profiter d'une vue imprenable tout au long de la journée. Trisha a été trÚs compréhensive et arrangeante lors de notre premier contact. La communication lors du séjour a été légÚrement plus compliquée en raison d'un problÚme avec les clés, mais cela n'enlÚve en rien nos trÚs bonnes appréciations de cette semaine à Armona !

Nice house in a wonderful place

Armona island is a wonderful place. The house is clean and nicely decorated. The lady in charge of welcoming us is sympathetic and helpful. Just a little remark: the kitchen is quite scarcely equipped. Only 6 forks and 6 spoons and 6 table knives for 6 persons in the house, it's not very comfortable! Anyway, we spent a wonderful week.

Absolutely stunning location right on the beach with a gorgeous view. Modern clean and beautifully decorated. We had the best week celebrating my daughter's first birthday and festilia visiting family on the island. My daughter loved exploring the house and beach, taking us to the beach from the living room every opportunity she had and even took her her first steps.We will definitely be returning, and staying here again.

Apesar da boa localização, o imóvel apresenta algumas falhas, nomeadamente não possuí pratos, tem poucos talheres, forno não funciona, a loiça, tachos, frigideiras guardadas encontravam-se sujas, quartos muito escuros com cheiro a mofo. Não tem ar condicionado (ventoinhas de tecto são insuficientes e fazem muito ruído).Cadeiras para praia anunciadas, encontram-se danificadas, espreguiçadeira de pano (existente na cobertura - terraço) encontra-se rasgada.Local possuí cùmaras de vigilùncia ilegais pelas quais os proprietårios observam os clientes infringindo a privacidade dos mesmos. Situação bastante desagradåvel que nos levou à apresentar queixa nas autoridades. Apesar da beleza natural da ilha e do conformo da localização da casa, não aconselhamos a estadia na mesma.

This was an amazing choice! Couldn't be better located for a quiet week with a 4year old. Amazing venue. Only thing is the bed (couple bed) was not good at all... And it would be good to have small lamps by the beds in the other rooms. Other than that it was amazing! Very good kitchen and terrace and most of all, getting out of the house directly to the beach. thank you.

Perfect relaxing break

Second visit to Armona and this house and the island is beautiful and relaxing. The house is clean tidy and perfectly situated on the beach. The host and the contacts on the island are fantastic and couldn’t ask for more.

Armona a Peace of Heaven

Das Haus hat eine sehr schöne gute Lage. Die Einrichtung ist schön, eine sehr schöne neue KĂŒche gibt es auch. Bei kleinen Problemen (keine WeinglĂ€ser) wird schnell und problemlos geholfen, danke Lena. Unser 10 tĂ€giger Urlaub war wunderschön und wir wĂŒrden gerne wieder nach Armona kommen. Ein Sonnenschirm oder etwas Schatten wĂ€re auf der Dachterrasse oder fĂŒr die StĂŒhle am Strand perfekt. Carlos Bar und das Lanacosta sind einen Besuch wert. Tolle Lage

Hat alles (Buchung, check in, usw) super geklappt. Die Lage ist top und das Haus hat eine sehr schöne Dachterrasse, was eher selten ist. Die Inneneinrichtung ist jedoch in die Jahre gekommen und die Betten sind etwas klein. Alle GerÀte die man braucht sind vorhanden. Allerdings haben wir keine TV-Sender gefunden, lediglich Youtube. Wir kommen gerne mal wieder.

A few niggles

This was our tenth visit to Armona and we love the island. We were disappointed with the welcome we received from the person appointed to show us to the house. Our polite enquiries regarding the gas stove and the working of the television were met with incredulity that we could not instantly master their workings. The house needed some work eg the kitchen tap was unstable, only three out of the four gas rings were usable and the roof terrace lights did not work so we could not use it at night.

A beautiful setting for this lovely house. Very convenient for the limited number of shops, restaurants and the beach, with a roof terrace for dawdling over breakfast and watching the sunset

Sympathische Insel....Buchung in € inseriert, in ÂŁ abgerechnet (30€ GebĂŒhren)

Leider war man nicht ganz auf uns vorbereitet. Anstatt uns in das Objekt einzufĂŒhren wurde aufgeschlossen und fertig. In der KĂŒche klebte alles, kein SpĂŒllappen vorhanden, auch die Dusche war nicht einladend. Ausserdem war der Sitzplatz am benutzten und verschmutzten Grill ziemlich zugewachsen. Der Boden im Haus war allerdings war sehr sauber. Auf der Dachterasse ist es interessant, leider hat es keinen Sonnenschirm/Schatten, es ist also brutzelheiss, schade, wir wĂ€ren gerne lĂ€nger dort geblieben und hĂ€tten die Sonnenliegen benutzt... Es wird von Waschmaschine und Trockner geschrieben, es gibt aber nur die Waschmaschine ohne Anleitung, da neu, und ohne Waschmittel. In dem Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett gibt es ĂŒberhaupt keinen Kleiderschrank, nur ein paar AufhĂ€nger an der Wand. Die Betten waren mittelmĂ€ssig, in dem einen Singlebett merkte man die Unterlage. Alles in allem aber haben wir uns selbst geholfen, Verschiedenes einfach gekauft oder saubergemacht und konnten so die Tage im Oktober auf der um die Zeit sehr ruhigen Insel geniessen. Der Strand zum Atlantik raus ist 3km entfernt, fast direkt vor dem Haus kann man aber die Boote beobachten und auch im "FĂ€hrwasser" baden.

Beach house paradise

House is perfectly located on Armona island. On beach front. Ideal position to watch sunsets. House is well equipped. Roof terrace and BBQ. Owners communicate well. Good value for money.

My second happy stay 😊

With 3 disabled oldies, we needed a property close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The house has it all as well as 2 bathrooms and 2 very user friendly showers. It’s a short walk to the sea which is perfect for all. As avid bird watchers, we were thrilled to see loads from the house and the upstairs balcony.

Wonderful Week

The location is great - a few steps from Armona-Ria beach, in a quiet place and not far from cafes and mini markets. Fantastic view from the terrace. The house is spacious, well decorated and the bathrooms are very good. It has everything needed for cooking. The cleanliness of the exterior and terrace needs to be improved and one of the mattresses in the first double bedroom needs to be changed as the springs can be felt.
