From our vacation apartment, you’ll experience pure nature with every glance out the window! Green countryside as far as the eye can see!
It’s not uncommon to see a deer grazing in our large garden or to watch fox cubs as they clumsily bound across the meadow.
Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner outdoors anytime and marvel at a breathtaking starry sky in the evening by our fire pit—it’s all possible here!
Birdsong and biodiversity are still the norm here.
The train station and bus connections are nearby. We also offer you the option to book a rental car.
Among the many recreational activities are the Japanese Garden, the Rocktown climbing gym, the bowling centre, the Fruchthalle, and the garden show in Kaiserslautern, Konrad’s Wine Shop and the recreational area in Weilerbach, the K1 Climbing Park in Mehlingen, the Dynamikum in Pirmasens, the Technical Museum in Speyer, the Seewoog in Ramstein-Miesenbach, the Cubo Nature Adventure Pool, as well as Nanstein Castle in Landstuhl, the wildlife park on the Potzberg, and the wildlife park in Freisen are also always worth a visit. The same goes for the Gondwana Historical Museum in Schiffweiler.
In the summer, a visit to the Bärenlochweiher in Kindsbach, the Gelterswoog in Kaiserslautern, or the heated outdoor pool in Wolfstein is just the thing to cool off.
In addition, the region offers great events throughout the year, such as “The Long Night of Culture,” the “Old Town Festival,” the “Vintage Kilo Market,” farmers’ markets, and the “Street Food Festival.”
An annual castle festival is held at Nanstein Castle, where you can watch blacksmiths and jugglers at work. In the fall, Guhl Farm in Martinshöhe also offers a walk through a corn maze, as well as the chance to harvest pumpkins yourself from the field and then attend a big farm festival.
There’s also plenty to experience for hiking and horseback riding enthusiasts. For example, the Frank family regularly offers horseback riding tours around and up the Königsberg for trail riders.
The area is also wonderful to explore on foot. The Pfälzerwald Association regularly offers circular hikes and opens its cabin every Sunday in the summer—right here in our lovely little village of Olsbrücken!
The area also has plenty to offer in terms of cuisine, so there’s something for everyone!
To make your vacation perfect, there’s a washing machine and a dishwasher. No one should have to wash dishes by hand here.
If you’d rather stay in the apartment, you can get cozy on the couch in front of the SmartTV and stream your favourite show. ;)
