We had a blast! The beach was beautiful and private. No crowds! And on the days too cold to be on the beach, the views from the front porch were to die for! Great stay! Highly recommend!
Great spot! Super easy access to very private beach. We were looking for a very casual experience and got just that. Everything was clean and ready to use.We had 2 couples and had plenty of room. Adding a few kids to the mix would be easy in the bunk room but much more than that could get tight.
Stayed for 4 nights for a work/vacation trip. We had our daughter and 5 of her friends and the house was perfect for the 8 of us. The kids loved the bunk room and the house had the âold beach houseâ vibe to it. Being right on the beach was a plus and it was a 5 minute drive to my conference. We will definitely be booking âAll Decked Outâ for a future stay.
Pros:âąThe downstairs outdoor bathroom/shower area was a nice bonusâsuper convenient for cleaning up after the beach.âąThere was adequate dining space inside for our group.âąThe location itself was nice, and the front porch was spacious (though it faced the road, not the ocean).Cons:âąThe main living room was severely under-furnished for a group: just a loveseat and four small chairs. Definitely not enough seating anywhere inside. âąOnly two of the bedrooms were king-size, with just one having an en-suite bathroom. The rest of the group had to share a single hallway bathroom, which created a bottleneck.âąThe back deck (2nd floor) was a major letdownâvery small and narrow. It barely fit 3â4 people at a time and didnât offer the ocean-view experience weâd hoped for.âąThe bedroom setup lacked modern amenities. Neither of the king bedrooms had a TV, and the bunkroomâs TV was oddly placed on a dresser surrounded by bunkbeds, making it pretty much unwatchable.âąCheck-in wasnât allowed until 4 PM, even though it was clear the house was ready earlier. It looks like theyâre putting up gates to restrict early access, which felt unnecessarily strict and not very guest-friendly.âąNo pool (we knew this going in), but for the price, we couldâve had a similar setup at a condo with better amenities.Overall, the house served its basic purpose, but it didnât live up to expectations for the cost. A few changesâmore functional seating, better bedroom am
We loved this house. Fabulous view of the ocean. Plenty of room for us inside and out. Large parking area. Our favorite place was the back porch with the swing. There was plenty of cooking utensils and a grill. The beach was just a short walk which was perfect for us with kids! Everything was wonderful!
An old-time beach cottage that has been remodeled several times. On the beautiful beach. Private beach access. Condo complex next-door has lights to shine in the bedroom. Maintenance noise can be distracting. Convenient to great restaurants.
We had a great time at the beach. The house was clean, charmingly decorated and well laid out to accommodate one set of parents with their 3 year old and 9 year old in the room with all the bunk beds. The grandparents occupied one of the king bedrooms and the grand aunt and uncle the other king. The downstairs bathroom with shower and toilet was so convenient as was the downstairs refrigerator and beach equipment storage. There were 2 folding chairs, a beach umbrella, 4 beach chairs in pouches and 2 carts to carry equipment to the beach. The kitchen was equipped with enough stuff we could easily cook and feed our crowd. We did cook on the charcoal grill as well. The ice maker was so helpful. Lots of plug ins everywhere made life easy. WiFi worked great. We were so fortunate to have nice weather. One day we saw dolphins from the shore, another day a large shark. We ate at Coastal one night and Cobalts another. Both had good service, good food and fun atmospheres with spectacular views. Cobaltâs was a little less expensive.
If you are looking for a place on the beach with amazing views, this is the one for you! We had a wonderful time. The house is nice, clean, and functional. The kitchen is practical, the ice maker appliance is a nice touch. The best room in the house is the sunroom, with a large dining table and 4 chairs overlooking the beach and gulf. The washer and dryer were nice. Nice bathroom with a shower accessible from the outside. We appreciated the beach chairs and buggy. We came during the busy spring break season, but our section of beach was quiet. The proximity to the beach was fabulous, just a short ramp from the house. There's plenty of free parking at the house, including room for a boat. The internet was spotty for the week, but the host and owner were quick to respond. It took us 2 days to realize the master bed was upside down, the pillow top was on the bottom and we were sleeping on the springs. Once turned around it was very comfortable. The master bed lacks a dresser, it has just a small closet. Youâll need to live out of the suitcase for your stay There was also no hairdryer. The kitchen supplies were very basic, so you need to bring your own salt/pepper, dishcloths, and basic supplies if you plan to cook. The bath towels are nice, but small and not very many. Overall, this is a very nice place and with some minor additions it would be a 5-star house in an amazing location.
