It’s okay. We had access to some things at Divi. Food overall is 6/10. I’d love it to have more seasoning and flavor. Drinks overall are 2/10 they’re very watered down even on excursions with different vendors. Passion fruit mocktail at Ginger Asian flavor restaurant is 10/10. Overall The staff treated the white people better. 40% of the staff all over the properties didn’t act like they expected to see black guests. They need customer service training. Towel folks at tamarijn too. Their treatment was less than. When I complained to the buffet staff about the treatment in their area, they immediately apologized, addressed it and sent complimentary items to my room. they checked on us when they saw us. Iwe appreciated that. Our room was ocean front. Liked it except for the toilet and bed. Mattress was hard and the toilet area is small. If we were fat we wouldn’t fit on the toilet. Excursions overlap so be careful choosing or you’ll end up in the same places. Overall it wasn’t a horrible 10 day stay. The shuttle guys and some cleaning staff were very nice and friendly. The vents in some areas need to be cleaned or changed they’re dirty and drip water. Buffet folks must STOP cleaning the coffee and hot water machine with their bare hands that grossed me out and I never drank from that machine again. Service from restaurant staff was excellent. It’s a mixture of hits and misses. Would I go again? Nope. The overall hospitality for us as black folks was too upsetting

Room was very nice and plenty of space. However, due to heavy rain the rain did drip onto the headboard. Notified front desk and they took care of us immediately. Many other areas had issues as well due to the heavy rain. Act of God. Food and service was excellent. Staff went above and beyond.

The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and clean. I love Tamrijn so much; this is my second visit in 2 months! First, I went on a solo trip to celebrate my birthday in September; now, I'm with my sister and cousin for a mini girls' trip. I love ARUBA!

The room, I got locked in the bathroom and almost missed our excursion due to the lock mechanism failing. I was locked in for about 45 min while my family was waiting in the room and maintenance got there. It was hot and muggy in the bathroom.

We were very happy with the food and the service at the restaurants. We found the service at the front desk in concierge to be disinterested at best and in some cases simply not available. The room was basic but clean, but the major issue in our area was noise. During the day, a lot of noise coming from people partying on the beach, and at night a rhythmic vibration that made it very difficult to sleep up until about 4:00 a.m.. We were located towards the West end of the resort, although we had requested the other end. We had also requested main floor because of a disability and that was also not granted. Many elements of this stay were beautiful, but for the noise reasons alone we could not recommend it
