THINGS TO KNOW The hot tub is a 120V Plug N Play hot tub. If the water is changed between guests, it will take at least 24 hours to reach temperature. Your patience is appreciated as we offer this new and delightful amenity. For an extraordinary, rural work-from-home experience in this exquisite natural setting, please bring your own personal hot spot as we have not been able to secure a reliable WiFi provider due to the rural nature of this home The property caretaker lives about 100 yards away on the same multi-acre lot. The caretaker respects guests' privacy and will only come around if assistance is requested. Duck hunting does occur on the lagoon from mid-October through January. There is no direct access to the lagoon from the property. A boat/kayak launch site is just a short drive around the corner.

Amazing view and perfect location for seeing the Redwoods. The house had a lived-in feel that made it feel like I was staying with a friend. We stayed over Christmas, and a tree and decorations were set up when we arrived, which was an appreciated touch! The hot tub was slow to warm up from being cleaned before we arrived, but once it did, our favorite thing to do was hang out in the hot tub and enjoy the view! This place was private, great location, and pet-friendly - everything we were looking for!
All 8 members of my family absolutely loved your property to say nothing of the fabulous nearby Redwoods. Only negative was that people had responsibilities which limited the duration of our stay.
The perfect way to experience Northern California!
The pictures do NOT do this location justice. If you are on the fence about booking, jump off that fence. This home is cozy, the hot tub is perfect for sipping coffee in the morning, the flowers are beautiful, the views are unbelievable, tons of toys for the little ones, and older teens. Everyone loved the piano! We could easily access multiple areas, we visited fern canyon (note you must reserve this in advance, we could not get in but took the drive) Elk Meadow which had the most beautiful stream and waterfall, Trees of mystery, which was WELL worth the trip, Trinidad State Beach which was breathtaking, we got tattoos in Arcada (recommend Tru Nature - Eva was great! ) and we also visited the beach across from the lagoon from the house which we had all to ourselves! We even picked wild blackberries on the road to the house to eat. Amazing family time!
