CHRIS & SUE'S CONDO AT WINDSOR PALMS 3 MILES FROM DISNEY AND ALL IT'S MAGIC

This Luxurious 3 bedroom/2 bathroom, fully equipped Condo is located in the exclusive gated community of Windsor Palms, Kissimmee, less than 3 miles from Walt Disney World. Our condo is beautifully decorated throughout and located on the top floor (2nd floor UK, 3rd floor USA - no elevator ) meaning no disturbance from above. It offers a spacious and comfortable vacation home that is fully furnished and equipped to a high standard including WiFi high-speed internet, free long distance and international calls (does not include European/UK mobile numbers), 4 flat-screen TVs (lounge has a smart TV) and DVD player, for your entertainment and relaxation.

The master bedroom is spacious and has a king-size bed, walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a double/queen size bed, with bedroom 3 having twin beds. There is also a memory foam fold up bed to sleep a 7th person, plus a fold-up crib for a baby.

The kitchen is well stocked and has a full-size cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher so when you choose to eat in you'll find all the equipment there. The dining area seats 6/7 comfortably.

In November 2019, a new wooden floor was installed in the lounge area and new carpets were laid in every bedroom. A Kurig coffee maker is a recent addition to the kitchen facilities and also a new fridge/freezer was purchased in 2024.
Parts of the condo have also been repainted maintaining the existing décor.

For the golfers - there is a set of golf clubs at the condo that guests are welcome to use.

We have an excellent local 24-hour management company in place should there be any issues and cleaning arrangements are first class.

Please note that when reading the reviews, HomeAway have been inaccurate in stating that they relate to a previous owner. My wife and myself have owned the property since 2010 and have been renting since then. Sadly my wife died late 2019. I am now the sole owner but it has been deemed that I am new owner.

COVID-19 cleanliness:

Through our management company and their cleaners, we are adopting the CDC guidelines relating to rental homes expanding on the requirements for cleanliness and disinfecting required by the State of Florida. We are following the SAFEHOME Vacation Rental Housekeeping Professional (VRHP) and Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA) Cleaning Guidelines for COVID-19. As a result the property has undergone a recent deep cleaning/sanitizing process to meet the SAFEHOME guidelines.

The host was quick to reply at times which was helpful but I feel like I wouldn’t have had to message him with questions if the property was set up for guests better. The Wi-Fi information on Vrbo said the password would be included in a folder there and we looked high and low for it everywhere and never found it. There were 2 rolls of toilet paper given for the whole stay between 5 people and we ran out on day 2, only one trash liner was provided, no soaps or paper towels were available. Beds were also very uncomfortable unfortunately. Otherwise, it was a great location to parks and the included stroller was very helpful.

There were a few items that needed addressed upon arrival and the host replied very quickly to resolve them. The sinks do leak around the base, only one wash cloth was provided and no hand towels - but host got them to us quickly. The washing machine will fill with water, drain and spin, BUT the agitator does not work. You can spin it freely with your hand - it does not work during the wash or rinse cycles. We were able to drain and spin clothes so we could dry them - but will need rewashed when we get home. The kitchen is nice and well stocked, but fridge is a small apartment size fridge. The pool and resort areas are very nice. Overall, we had a great time in Orlando - the host is great, but accommodations could have been better.

Beautiful, comfortable, well-appointed condo. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Hot tub and pool facilities were nice. Was close enough to Disney and the main strip (restaurants and shopping), but far enough out to be quiet and low traffic.

Accommodating amenities

The apartment met the needs of a reasonably priced place that was relatively close to the venue for our daughter’s dance competition at the Dolphin Hotel. The space was sufficient for a small family. It was clean and all appliances were in working condition. Easy check in. The notice about the 3 flights of stairs should be made up front and clearer. We did not experience any issues, but the slightest disability could have resulted in a negative experience. Overall we were pleased with the space.

Great place to stay!

My family of 4 recently stayed here. It is as described, gated community off the beaten path which is great. The place has been maintained well, far better than a hotel. Everyone appreciated their own space and the gathering areas to join as a family. You wont be disappointed with your stay here. Its very family friendly and the community center was filled with great people too. If you're on the fence get off and plan your stay!

Towels are smell funny, had to wash it as soon as I get there, dusty everywhere. Including bowls and kitchen supplies. Pillows have old stains. Dead mesquite body smushed and still stuck on the wall. Sheets, pillows and towels smells and do not look like it has been recently cleaned.

Great Location

Overall this place was nice and comfortable. It does state it is a 3rd floor Condo. I just didn't expect the steps to be so steep. We ordered food a few times and even the drivers were winded coming up the stairs. This might be difficult for older family members or small children. Also after being in the parks all day climbing those stairs was a lot. The Master bed hurt my back. I think the mattress just need to be replaced. The condo was very spacious and had everything we needed and it was close to shopping, food and DIsney which was a plus for us. I think this was a good and affordable place to stay near Disney.

Great condo

Everything was wonderful, except we were not on the security list and they would not let us in. We were then told to call VRBO which was the wrong info. Once we "contact owner" and listen to the end of the message and got the # to call, we spoke with a real person were quickly placed on the list. Everything else was wonderful and we will be back. Close to everything, very clean and exactly as promised. Good stay.

Spring Break Trip

Spent a week at Windsor Palms. 3rd time to this complex, first at this condo. Place was great as usual. Clean, family friendly, great pool/clubhouse area. Volleyball, tennis and basketball courts all have lights for evening play. Has always been a great place and this time was no different.nodifferent.

It was a great stay

Overall we didn’t spend a lot of time at the condo but the condo it self was great the only problem we encountered was parking. After 6pm you won’t be able to find parking anywhere near the condo which was little upsetting since we were 3rd floor. We had to park a nice ways away but I do understand there was a lot of other family’s staying there too. It was a very nice neighborhood and it was quite at night very nice for the price.

Condo review

It was difficult checking in second car. Guard was rude. Gave us false information. Did not get into room until 2 AM because of him. However condo was very clean and comfortable with beautiful layout.

Excellent location

Everything was precisely as advertised and photos were accurate. Our only issue was Hurricane Milton - which didn't get close enough to 'scare' us, but did knock the power out for longer than we thought. Obviously, acts of nature are unavoidable and unpredictable and certainly not a reflection on the host! Its simply the reason I didnt give 5's across the board.
