DO NOT STAY HERE...Bugs, mold in refrigerator and spider webs !!!

I have stayed at 3 other VRBO locations that was excellent, this one was Horrible. We walked in and immediately saw small bugs in the kitchen and in 3 bathrooms. Opened the refrigerator and found mold. After calling the location agent we were told to document everything with pictures and videos (which we did) so we would have a case for reimbursement if we decided not to stay. My wife refused to stay of course, so I had to get 3 Marriott hotel rooms for 3 days. Our Disney vacation was completely altered and cost me double what I intended on spending because of the subpar living conditions of this rental. I would like my money back as we did not stay any of the 5 nights I paid for. We have sent over 10 emails to the company and we do not have an answer yet about any compensation. You have definitely lost several customers.

A couple of issues

Wifi was super slow. I called the manager and he told me to call the internet company and gave me the number. I honestly did not feel like that was my responsibility. Second, they only give you one roll of tissue in the bathroom, i had to go out and buy my own. I had to buy plug ins because it smelled a little odd. Last, the bed upstairs had sunflower seeds in the frame. The property was nice but with all the money i paid i should of never had any issues.

Not awful but not good

There was the scent/remnants of mothballs in the bedding cloth that had given half the family headaches and irritated their nose and throat for 4 days of our visit and made it hard to sleep. On top of that some of the beds were just awful to sleep on. The bathroom near the theatre room had no soap whatsoever. The air conditioner would always stop without fail at around 10 pm and would not restart till the next day, making it hot at night. The laundry machine was pretty dirty and had to be cleaned up before we used it. We found a slug at the bottom of the pool when we’re we’re going to use it ( we have a picture) and a lizard somehow got to the pool area. For the price we payed, we expected better.

Over priced for what we got

We experienced one problem after another in this house, when we got there ,it looked nice enough but it smelled really bad all through the house with moth balls, which we found out was in the garage the whole time, it was hard to breathe. For the first two days we had no hot water ,,cold showers are no fun at all, we also did not have a working refrigerator,,the ice maker was completely frozen,,,and there was water and mold in the vegetable tray and the tray below it, so fist thing I had to do when we arrived was scrub the refrigerator out. Then we realized we had no tv in the living room, and even after the cable company came to turn it back on and put a new box in, it still kept going out,, so we just gave up on it,
 the glass sliding door that leads to the pool area is so old , it kept sticking and the door handle was really loose,, The maintenance man George he was very helpful along with Michael came over and fixed the door handle because we could not find a screwdriver anywhere in the house, or I would’ve fixed it myself, as it was I had to clean out the track because there was so much dirt in it and that is why I kept sticking but nonetheless the day after we tightened it up and cleaned the track the doorhandle just snapped off because the door is so heavy and it would not slide because it really needs to be updated. I also fixed one of the cabinet drawers that holds the silverware because the back of it was broke off And the bottom of it kept sliding back so there was a giant hole when you opened it I glued that and that helped a little bit but the silverware bins kept sliding back anyway. I will say that Michael and George the maintenance people were extremely helpful and tried to help us as best as they could, but, no, I would not recommend this house to anyone else, it needs too many updates and it needs to be clean from top to bottom, sorry to say that I would never go back there I did talk to the maintenance people about either being refunded some money or having heat turned on for the hot tub as compensation for all of our troubles but I never did hear back from anyone, they said they were going to talk to the owner about it, we didn’t get heat turned on in the pool because they won at $350 extra and we’ve just figured we would go down to the hot tub that is at the clubhouse at the resort but when we got there it turns out their hot tub was broke so no fancy drinks by the hot tub for us 😱

Door locks and handles

The sliding glass door handle was falling off upon our arrival it eventually fell off completely I let the PM know immediately! Then I accidentally locked the house key in the house, I realize that that was my mistake but THEN I was not happy with the experience from there, I feel like the property manager was not prepared for that human error! I called to possibly get a spare key she told me there was not one!! Because a previous renter took it home! I asked her why she didn’t make another but she really didn’t give me a answer and told me I’d have to call and pay for a locksmith. She then told me to wait while she looked through all her keys. She called me back and said she forms one but could not get to me because she didn’t have a car and asked if I could come get it at her house, well we traveled 40 min got the key ,( when she handed me the keys she asked ME to make a duplicate!, but then her son was there and he said no not to do that, which I wouldn’t have anyway) we returned to the house and it was the WRONG key! I ended up calling the locksmith and had to pay $75 She was very sweet, I just think a property manager should be better organized and prepared!!! What if there was as a water leak and a neighbor noticed and we were away for the day with the only key!!! I was not real pleased!

Excellent Home to Stay

Beautiful home and accommodations. Very clean, open, and lots of room and close to everything. The resort and staff were excellent. Only issue was that the pool and spa/hot tub outside were not heated during our stay (we paid for this additional fee and will be receiving a refund). However, would recommend this location to everyone.

Incredible Home Away from Home

A beautiful home nestled in a quiet neighborhood outside of the hustle and bustle of the Orlando area attractions. The home is incredibly inviting and has all the amenities and accommodations one could ask for while traveling. Would highly recommend and Delia was truly a pleasure to work with.

Love it....

This house is gorgeous. Very cozy, clean and spacious. Only complaint would be that the king size bed is actually two twins put together which made it very hard to spread out and get comfortable.
