Avis Updated 4 bed 2.5 bathroom pool home villa that overlooks conservation with games room at Westridge near Disney, Orlando

Overall it was a nice home. There was no grill as posted. The pictures were just as it was. It would have been nice to have a vacuum as well as the broom. No need for binoculars to see the alligators.

Perfect location, we were 6 houses down from our good friends who were there visiting from England. Had a couple of minor issues when we arrived, a breaker flipped for all bathroom outlets, took us about 24hrs to find it. Also the outside front door security light / entry light was broken, the maintenance was sent out within a few days, but couldn't fix it... so it was never operating while staying... felt a little uneasy when entering the home at night.

Loved it here Could do with a little tlc but nice and comfortable The view to the rear is fabulous and we saw large alligators on several occasions just a few meters out into the lake !!!

The property was clean and in a quiet neighbourhood, would definitely recommend to anyone. The washing machine broke unfortunately and they ended up replacing it which was nice. Great place to stay!

Villa is clean and perfectly situated for visiting all the major parks. Close to highway. Villa was very clean with a big pool.

Everything was pretty great. The Gator stories are very real. We had the best time watching them, to the point of buying a tactical flashlight & binoculars from Walmart lol.. People have clearly been feeding them in the back yard. None came up close but we did get lots of pictures. The house was laid out great. Soo much space. Our grandkids had a blast in the garden tub & pool. Buy or bring towels & washclothes, we bought a 12 dollar set at Walmart & all was perfect. You can use the washer anytime. Bring toilet tissue, paper towels, dish liquid ect. The normal stuff that your family uses daily. There was a starter kit but if you are anything like our family, you will use alot of everything. The only thing that wasn't the greatest is the ac. It has to stay between 72-78. 72 was fine as we had no other choice. There was 1 working box fan & thank God we all brought our fans we normally use at home. Nights & mornings were perfect but I could not imagine it had it been hotter than 90 during the day. The vaulted windows bring in alot of sun. All & all, we will definitely stay here again. It was close to perfect. Also, if you book, don't freak out when your messages are not answered. I emailed through VRBO several times & was a little worried until we got our code & got there. The young ladies at the actual office were very helpful & comforting and answered all my questions. The listing says it has a grill, the girls in the office confirmed that it doesn't. We can't wait to return.

This is our seventh trip to Florida and the worst by far, the management company 1st for Orlando and VRBO should not be allowed to rent this villa. We opened the door after a 13 hours journey to a stagnant smell throughout the property to discover the garage area and so called ‘Games room’ was flooded and giving off a pungent stale odour rendering it unusable with a son who unfortunately suffers with chronic asthma this wasn’t ideal as we walked through the property it was clear this wasn’t the only problem, within five minutes my youngest son came to me with a rusty screw stuck in the bottom of his foot left there by the sliding door handle off to a great start! The kitchen was beyond filthy, food had been left in draws to fester adding to the already pungent odour within the property. All cutlery and glassware were highly unsanitary a fair percentage looked to be used and then placed back in the cupboard? The cleanliness of the property was null and void, glass tables were thick with grease, chandeliers we’re covered with thick dust, the sofa was heavily stained, all bed sheets were torn and stained with what looked to be blood? Sockets were not fixed into the walls leaving exposed wires, all of the windows were green with algae and black mould was present around all of the glass and seals. This time round my wife and I agreed not to do the theme parks meaning we would spend time in the villa and have beach days when we drew back the curtain and saw the pool it was green you physically could not see to the bottom, the walls of the pool were coated in algae whilst the water was covered in an oily slick, there were also numerous tiles broken off leaving sharp exposed edges, the pool area itself was disgusting and so slippery it made it dangerous. This wasn’t unfortunately the worst this there was a dead mole in the pool how long it was there I’m really not sure, after 16 days and a serious amount of effort from the pool guy it was clear and useable. The property is littered with cockroaches even after the bug guy came out and sprayed thoroughly they kept coming back in almost every room of the house, the pool area had to have a red ants nest removed and the bedroom at the far back of the house was infested with a black ants nest. The security of the property is non existent, there is no safe code and the front door could open with a good gust of wind, complaining to 1st for Orlando does nothing there liars you should be disgusted

My family of 6 which is 2 girls 8yrs and 15 2 boys 9yrs and 1yrs and my husband and i enjoyed Staying at this home. As others have mentioned there are plenty of dishes, utensils, cups and cookware. My kids loved the pool. The beds are very comfortable. You can always rewash the sheets and comforters if you want the floors where clean My husband and I noticed some dust in places especially on all the blinds. We rented this house for our annual disneyworld vacation we caught ubers and lyfts to avoid paying tolls and paying parking which came out cheaper for us then renting a car but I have to say the parks are about 30 mins away from the house so it seemed to take forever to get there each and every time. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. We never needed to reach out to the owner even though we were going to because there was absolutely not enough towels to use for pool and for bathing. There was about only 3 wash clothes 4 big drying towels and 2 smaller towels. We just constantly washed the towels we could've just brought some from family dollar but we made it work but overall nice home

Property was nice. Good location for access to theme parks. No extra towels but we brought some of our own. They had all basic necessities covered.

I really enjoyed staying at this home. While there were a few things that needed repair they were very minor and did not hinder the stay at all. The pool area is a bit out dated (the screen is coming off in areas and it was a bit dirty.. which is to be expected in the summer). But overall the home was nice. It was close to Orlando and the parks. I think the highlight of the trip was watching the alligators in the pond behind the house swim by. They never came up on land so I never felt like they were a danger to us.... but they were fun to watch with binoculars from the pool area. If we travel to FL again I will absolutely rent this home again.
