Wonderful stay

We came down to visit some family and go to the parks it was close to the 408 and about 15 mins away from universal. The host had water and other things for us when we got there, it was very nice and low maintenance. House is very home like, unlike some of the bare places we have stayed before. Host stayed in contact to make sure everything was running smooth and was open to any questions about the place. We had a great stay.

Surprised and let down

My wife and I have stayed at many VRBO and similar type properties over the years. This is the first time we have stayed at a property that was not organized as a rental. The owner kept all of his personal items in the bathroom, kitchen and living area. The oven was a horrible mess and not usable and the collected dust and grime from years of uncleanliness is apparent. Basically the owner just doesn’t get what it means to have a property rental ready for renters. We stayed for 2 months and made it comfortable for ourselves which included a good amount of continuous cleaning and not being able to position our own items in the kitchen, bathroom and living area. The owner was good about replacing the dryer in the 2nd week but neglected to keep the lawns mowed (twice in 2 months) nor were we able to use the backyard as it was such a mess and overgrown. Couldn’t use the BBQ as hadn’t been cleaned in quite awhile. Overall while we made ourselves comfortable for the time spent there it wasn’t a pleasant or enjoyable property. Also the property does not have its own pool but shares a community pool across the street.
