Great views, clean, well stocked. Quiet place, while access is easy, there are a few extra steps involved in a place like this. Elevator to garage, to exit door, to pool/beach gate (need to carry key fobs for accessing various areas). So, while it is oceanfront/on the ocean, it does take a few minutes to get there :). We kept our beach chairs & such in the back of the Jeep in the parking garage which made things easier. There are carts & such to bring groceries up located in the garage area and extra parking on the top level if you have more than one car. The balcony area does pool after a rain, so we weren’t able to use it as much as we hoped on the last few days with the weather we experienced. The host was very responsive.They do supply initial things such as dish & washer pods, paper towels, trash bags and toilet paper- if you tend to use a lot of these, bring extra! We had plenty for our stay.
Balcony views, we were able to catch a few pretty views despite the clouds all week.
Balcony views, the water was really wild due to storms, but so pretty.
Sunset was visible off to the left/river view, sunrise wasn’t as visible as it seemed to rise behind us.

This is our second time staying in the Ormandy. This unit is very comfortable, ocean view, and the view north for miles of A1A along the coast is spectacular. We really like this general location for a month winter break.

Fantastic condo!

Love this condo! My husband and I have stayed at many condos in Ormond Beach and this one, by far, was the best all around! We just had 2 weeks of relaxing here! Checking in could not have been any easier, the owner was so helpful! The condo itself was amazing! Clean, warm and inviting! Everything you could want is here. The balcony was the best place to relax, the outdoor furniture was so comfy, I took several naps listening to the ocean! The view was the best, I loved how far north I could see the beaches! Thanks again to the owners for sharing their piece of paradise, we would definitely stay here again!

Excellent host communications, everything as advertised

Pros - Great layout and furnishings, kitchen well equipped, secure building, host was totally responsive, nice pool, close to beach. We particularly liked the balcony furnishings, shaded, with a view in both directions. There were a couple of minor issues, uncompleted remedies from the recent hurricane, but nothing that affected our stay. And, it appears that they will be finished within a week. Plenty of seaweed on the beach, but won’t prevent taking a chair and enjoying the waves. We normally would have rated it a 4.0-4.5, but all agreed that the host did everything to solve the very few issues we encountered, and he and the unit deserves a 5.

Awesome unit and view

We’ve been coming to the Ormandy every summer for over 10 years. This is the second time we’ve stayed in this unit of the Ormandy, and will gladly come back. I love the security of gated, underground, assigned parking, direct access to the beach from the garage near the pool & bathroom. The unit is comfortable and welcoming. You can sit on the balcony and watch the sun rise over the beach and sun set over the Halifax river in comfortable chairs. The owner is extremely responsive. The tv wasn’t working and he had the cable company out there in a couple hours! A great beach get away.

Beach

The condo was great. It did have more security but some of the doors were hate to open with your hands full . We came for the beach , we are in our 70’s and found it hard to walk on this beach . This has nothing to do with the condo, the view was great from the balcony and we love sitting on it. We have always enjoyed walks and being in the ocean but the beach here was hard to walk on and the ocean floor was very uneven, lots of dips . Over all a good week.

Our favorite thing to do at this Condo is relax on the Balcony and enjoy the fantastic view. The condo is very nice and the owner is very responsive. We look forward to coming back next year!!!

Comfortable with Great Views

This stay was fantastic! The condo was spacious and beautiful and was furnished with everything we could have needed. The views were spectacular. Easy beach access and my boys loved the pool. The restaurants close by were also really good. The building was secure and parking was easy. Our host was communicative and very responsive when I contacted him. We would definitely book again!

Beach Condo

We have stayed in this condo four times already. It’s very clean and has everything you need. The views of the ocean are gorgeous and sunsets over the intracostal are spectacular.
