Take a leisurely stroll down to the river; along the Tufsinga you’ll find quiet spots to linger, and on the vast Lake Femunden, small coves beckon for swimming and paddling. For a day trip, we recommend the charming mountain town of Røros with its timber-framed houses and inviting cafés. Fishing enthusiasts will be in their element: you can try your luck at catching trout or pike in the river and surrounding lakes. You’ll also find plenty of hiking opportunities. This is the perfect place for anyone seeking an authentic mountain experience, privacy and plenty of space.
