Very good hotel

This was our first time to Oslo. This is a nice hotel, but 3 out of 4 taxi drivers did not know where it is -- there is another Clarion Hotel in Oslo, which may have confused them. So they need to advertise more, I guess. Other than that, this hotel is very convenient to the Munch museum and the central train station area.

Room was good and comfortable with a nice view. The breakfast was exceptional. The best of our trip so far. The omelets at the omelet station were outstanding. The only minor complaints is that we were told the wrong breakfast hours for a Monday. If my husband hadn’t noticed the posted hours, we would have missed breakfast completely.

Great Hotel. Location is excellent, on the water, close to the railway station. Rooms are a good size - clean bathroom, comfortable bed. Breakfast is excellent - so much choice, barista coffee. Staff are friendly and very efficient.

Breakfast was great. Front staff were wonderful. Great location. Negative-only 2 thin small towels. The soap and shampoo seemed like they were watered down. The bathtub was high and no grab bar so it was dangerous to get out. 1/3 of the outlets didn’t work. The door locks were difficult to operate-I travel to many countries and hotels and haven’t seen anything so crazy. We had a suite and it felt like a 3 star hotel. Disappointed
