The hotel is older but staff and location were outstanding! Have your morning coffee along side the river, view and scenery spectacular.You are a very short walk from everything on Main Street. Can’t go wrong with “Yankee Girl” for breakfast and “Ouray Brewery” for everything else. Highly recommend the Ouray Inn!

Good location but no frills

This is an old hotel with a few upgrades. It’s in a great location off the main st. They serve a hot breakfast every morning and wine with cookies in the afternoon. It’s clean but there isn’t any housekeeping during your visit. The short round front toilet made the stay uncomfortable for anyone over the age of 10. All in all it was a nice visit but definitely not worth the $250/night charge.

Was planning a motorcycle trip to the area and excited to stay at this place. Unfortunately, we had a family emergency and was unable to make it. Notice was given 24 hours in advance, but the owners stated that their was nothing they could do to change or refund any of the $300 payment. Really? No flexibility to accomodate this situation. Maybe a credit to be used at a future time? A hard NO was the response. Unexpected and unbelievable a business owner would respond to their customer this way. We ate to fee and I'm sure they sold the night to another customer for a "double" payment for the night.

They were close to the shopping area and a 10-15 minute walk to the hot springs pool. The breakfast was home made and delicious. But we went down a little after 8 and it was almost gone. Im unaware if they had more ik the back for just in case but it was good. So just get there early to be sure.
