Just minutes from downtown Rockland, this scenic retreat boasts an 80's ambiance with vintage furniture styling, while offering all the contemporary comforts of home. A full kitchen has everything you need to cook some of Maine’s famous seafood. Both the eat-in kitchen and formal dining area provide ample seating while offering picture-perfect views of Penobscot Bay. After the day’s activities, unwind with family and friends in the living room, where a gas fireplace adds a warm glow to chilly weather. Additional perks include free WiFi, cable TV, a private washer/dryer, and a gas grill for outdoor cooking.

House was warm, cozi and perfect for our family. Love that it had twin beds in one room - so much better for teens than a single double/queen bed. Was perfect place to hunker down in the snow. We were visiting friends, but it was lovely and my mom enjoyed the view and fireplace while recovering from catching something over the holidays. Definately will visit again when in the area.

Of course the most outstanding thing about this property was the view. There was nothing more restful than sitting in a recliner with the fireplace going and looking out at the bay. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view!!! Very clean-met all our needs! Very comfortable beds! Only wish there was a deck off the main level to sit outside in the morning and evening as the sun came up and went down but other than that, loved it!!

Great location so close to Rockland. Lovely views of the boats in the bay. House very well equipped and clean. It’s all on one floor - convenient for seniors and hard to find. The only real drawback was lack of porch, deck and access to outside space. We would return again.

An excellent waterfront house in owls head.The property was just as described in the listing and accompanying photos, which is not always the case in our experience. The location is very close to all the restaurants and other must-sees in the Rockland area, and the view of the bay and harbor from inside the house is extraordinary. The configuration of the house is very user friendly, and having available ac is a real plus.

Coastal trip

Very nice place with a million dollar view out the living room window. It was very clean and a nice neighborhood. Right on the water. Two couples and was comfortable for us. I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely Apartment in Perfect Location

We loved the property and especially watching the sunrise each morning right from the living. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The 2nd bathroom had a tub only, which was a bit inconvenient for our group. Would stay again.

Another great vacation in Maine

We try to make it to Maine as often as we can, always staying with there bay as our back yard. We also always rent a house for a week or two. This year we tried a different area of Maine and liked the surroundings a lot. The house was the cleanest house who have ever rented. It was well organized and offered a=very comfortable beds and lounge area. The kitchen is somewhat outdated (especially the coffee machine), needed some better cookware, but we made it work. We LOVED the view from the huge windows. So much better than any TV show one can offer. However, we were greatly disappointed that there is no easy access to the outside or a place to sit right from the living room (like a deck). The backyard had a picnic table, but to access it was very inconvenient if we really wanted to eat there. The beach is accessible from down the block (easy walk). Overall, the house is located on a quiet street very close to Rockland Main Street and other local attractions.

Best location ever

This property is one of the nicest we’ve ever stayed at. The picture windows looking out over the harbor, the location, so close to everything we could want, and the cleanliness and comfort of the house itself were all the best. The management company was unresponsive when the keypad door lock didn’t work. We had to climb in through a luckily open window. The company said someone would be right there to fix it and no one ever showed up. Even with that, I would stay here again if we return to the Rockland area.

Overall, property is great location with great view of the Bay. Nice quiet neighborhood. Some of appliances are a little out dated but would still recommend property. Will definetly stay again if in the area.
