Welcome to Upperdeck – a Dog-Friendly Family Home Near Cornwall’s 7 Bays

Upperdeck is a spacious, well-loved holiday home, just a 5-minute drive from seven of North Cornwall’s most stunning beaches, stretching between Padstow and Park Head. Designed with comfort and flexibility in mind, this dog-friendly retreat is ideal for families, couples, or small groups looking to explore the coast while enjoying a peaceful and relaxing base.

Spacious & Flexible Accommodation
Upperdeck features two generously sized ground-floor bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms. One bedroom offers a luxurious king-size bed, while the second has twin beds that can be zipped into a super king (6ft) on request. We also offer two Z beds – perfect for younger guests. A handy utility room adds extra convenience for longer stays.

Comfortable Living Inside & Out
The triple-aspect lounge is bright and welcoming, complete with TV and DVD player, and opens out onto a large decked area with BBQ and outdoor furniture – perfect for alfresco dining or sunset drinks. Upstairs, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen and a large oak dining table seating six, along with a second cosy lounge space.

We had a lovely stay kept in touch good information easy access the property was lovely & great had everything you need like home from home very clean & great for pets all fenced in & front gates garden was lovely aswell with decking area we loved it sat in the sun in October dogs loved the beach under 10 mins away in car with a lovely coffee & cake after we would definitely recommend & love to stay again

Great place to stay with large bedrooms & large en-suites on each. Plenty of room in lounge area & was good to have extra utility room. Good sized driveway to park 2 cars. Our only disappointment was the stairs up to the kitchen, especially the last few stairs that hardly had room for our feet. We set up the kettle in the utility room as found it too precarious to bring hot drinks down the stairs. We are in our 60’s & 70’s so not ideal for us, but other that this it was a lovely place to stay.

Loved the property even though my mum was unable to get up the stairs but we coped. So central to everything and a dog walking field just up the road. Have recomended the property to friends. The scones were a lovely touch too. Thankyou again xx

A big birthday celebration

Lovely quiet location with the added bonus of a big garden all fully enclosed ideal for pets. A well looked after holiday property. Not far from some gorgeous beaches. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Our negative points were: The stairs are very narrow towards the bottom anyone with limited mobility might struggle. We all found the pillows a little flat and uncomfortable. The shower en suite was quite cold despite the heated towel rail, there appeared to be an electric fan on the wall but we couldn’t find how it worked. The mattress on one of the single beds was a bit tired. Despite these small issues we all had a lovely time. The little nook up stairs where the kitchen diner is was lovely The seating up there was comfy and cosy. The kitchen and dining area are very good. Lots of kitchen utensils. The two bedrooms downstairs are huge both en-suite. The house was always cosy and warm. Useful utility room downstairs. All in all a really nice house for a holiday.

Great location near the beaches. Upper Deck is located in a quiet holiday park. The property was spacious and well equipped with a wrap around garden which was great for the dogs. Hosts communication was excellent and they left scones with jam and clotted cream upon arrival. Overall we had a lovely visit.

Always fantastic at upper deck!

Our third stay! Upper deck is perfect for what we need and want, bedrooms are lovely and large, both with ensuites is an added bonus. Comfy beds and plenty of storage space. Downstairs lounge is comfy and lovely to sit down after a long walk along the beaches. The kitchen is well equiped with everything we have ever needed. And the new sofa chairs in the seating area up there are amazingly comfy, i sat and watched the colours of the sunset come through one night. Its peaceful, quiet and ian and lesley are always on hand if you need them. Amazing people. Cant wait to book our fourth visit soon. Thank you again.

The property was extremely spacious and clean, perfectly well equipped. Comfortable inside and out with a very safe wrap around garden for our dogs. Excellent location for the 7 bays. Interactions with the owners was excellent, they were in the adjacent property during our stay, they were accessible and very friendly albeit not intrusive in the slightest.

Great property in excellent location

Stayed for a week in this lovely house at the end of August. The property is big with lots of room for a family of 4. The upstairs kitchen and sitting area was a great space for family food / social / games. The house is really well equipped with everything you could need. Outside garden was lovely. And secure for our dog to roam. The location of this ‘holiday village’ was perfect for exploring the beaches and coastal walks along the north coast (some great beaches just 10 mins drive away), and easy 40 mins drive to the south, ie for hanging gardens of Heligan. Only one negative to feed back would be the poor / intermittent WiFi, which for two older teenage boys was a frustration. No mobile data signal either. And a smart TV would be a great addition to the property, then guests could log into their own streaming services for family viewing on evenings In! Would definitely recommend this property and stay again.
