Family Home - walk to down town !

This 2,000-square foot home is perfect for families. Lots of large common areas and combined kitchen/dining space. Make this comfortable, spacious home as base to see all the sites in northern Arizona and southern Utah. The house is 5-10 miles to Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and Lake Powell and a 2-3 hour one-way drive to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park.

Enter from the fully fenced, grass front yard into a large formal living room with lots of comfy seating and a smart TV. The living room opens into the great room with a fully stocked kitchen, dining area and family room.

The kitchen has new cabinets and is stocked with everything you need to cook family meals after a long day out sightseeing or playing on the lake. There is an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer with ice maker and Keurig coffee maker.

The dining table is adjacent to the kitchen and has seating for eight. Great for dining and a game of cards or a board game in the evening!

Adjacent to the dining room is a great room with leather sofa and love seat, fireplace and another smart TV.

Bedroom #1 features a queen bed with flat screen smart TV. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed with flat screen smart TV. Bedroom #3 has a twin daybed with a twin trundle and a flat screen smart TV. Bedroom #4 has a twin bed and a flat screen smart TV. Bedroom #5 has a double bed with a flat screen smart TV.

The main bath has a tub and shower. The master bath has a standing shower.

There is a full-size washer and dryer.

The backyard has grass and is fully fenced.

Not good

The home did have enough rooms for all of my people and it's close to town which is a plus. The lawn and outside areas are well taken care of. Check in and out was simple and easy as always with VRBO. That being said I was not pleased. This house needs a LOT of attention. A good contractor and cleaning company should be at the top of the list for this place. Soda and food stains on the walls. Lose floor tiles. The furnace filters don't look like they've ever been changed. Some of the floor registers (vent covers) are broken and non working. The front bedroom I stayed in was way too hot even with the cheap fan and door left open all night. Almost no air comes from the vent but other rooms were so cold They needed more blankets. Couldn't get some of the tv's to work at all. The room I stayed in didn't have a remote for the tv just the roku but at least the tv had buttons for the volume. Unfinished paint throughout the house and what has been painted looks to be covering up old stains (Landlord special). The dirty carpet has been covered up by an even dirtier rug in both main rooms of the home. Its stated that the cabinets are new... not the case. Not a breaking point I know but also clearly not truthful. The kitchen was very well stocked but the dishwasher (circa 1982) didn't seem to get anything clean. I ended up hand washing everything we used. All in all I just felt very dirty after staying in this home. I will not be returning to this property.

4.5 STARS PROS ‱location is right near anything you would want/need in town ‱bedrooms were comfortable. Stand fans were provided in any bedroom without a ceiling fan and tv’s in every room was a plus for my teens ‱parking out front for our 23’ boat ‱check in process was simple and lots of information about the area was provided to us previous to our arrival ‱property was older but was fairly represented online ‱grill out back CONS ‱the property was tidy and smelled clean on arrival but the details were missed. ‱cat seemed to live under the house and would start meowing at the back door the moment anyone woke up in the morning ‱kitchen flatware/utensils were very lacking ‱nothing major was wrong. We were satisfied with our stay. If I were the owner I would spend a little bit on updating the kitchen supplies and hire a better cleaner.

Absolutely enjoyable!

The host was phenomenal! Helpful, prompt and friendly in every communication. The furniture was comfortable and the decor was cute and homey. There were TVs in every bedroom and both living rooms. The kitchen was easy to navigate and find everything we needed. The washer and dryer worked well. The yard was fenced so the kids could run around. There is also a park down the street that or kids enjoyed. We loved this house so much and wish we could have stayed longer!

Great house, amazing location

The house is great: roomy, appliances are in good working order, internet and wifi worked without a hitch. Comfortable parking for 2 SUVs. The hosts are very responsive over VRBO messaging or text. fully stocked supermarket is a 5-minute drive away. The location is a good base of operations if you want to go hiking and see local (within ~2 hours of driving) wonders from North Rim of the Grand Canyon to the west to Monument Valley to the east. Lots of tours that are close by that are within walking or short driving distance, too. Glen Canyon Dam is impressive. Would happily return.

Great Location

Location was perfect & house had plenty of room for group of us that were there to run a half marathon. There were a couple small issues, that were not major in any way but we were a group of 5 girls, we could have used 1 more roll of tp for the 4 days we were there. Also, I had reached out to the owner before our trip and after and I did not get a response, it just would have been nice to get some kind of acknowledgement. Like I said, small issues that didn't affect our overall experience, just would have been helpful. We really did enjoy our time and the use of the house. Thank you!
