Close to Wolf Creek, Private San Juan River Frontage, Quiet! A/C

This 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom luxury home is located in one of the most desirable vacation home areas. Just 10 minutes to town with the World Famous Hot Springs, shopping, dining and riverwalk and just 15 minutes to the top of the mountain where Wolf Creek Ski Resort is located. It's perfect for both summer and winter.

Winter's Cabin is newly built, perfectly decorated and amazing wood work throughout the home. As you walk in the home, you'll immediately be amazed by the views of the San Juan Mountains from every room. The living room is 2 story's high, wood fireplace, comfy leather couches, large TV and opens to the dining and kitchen. The kitchen is perfect for cooking and has everything a chef would want to make a warm meal after a long day in the snow. The large deck runs the full length of the home and has nice outside furniture to relax and to enjoy a meal. There is also a gas BBQ and a sunken hot tub.

The master and guest bedrooms are both on the main floor. The master has access to the deck, a king bed and large private bathroom and a gas fireplace. The guest bedroom has a king bed and has the house full bathroom just outside. Upstairs is a large loft where the kids can hang out, relax, and also have another full bathroom.

This area is perfect for evening walks, nearby hikes and also has private access to the San Juan River.

All trailers, RV's, campers or other recreation vehicles must be approved prior to arrival to be allowed on premises.

This home is pet friendly. There is a $75.00 pet fee per dog, as well as a $100.00 refundable deposit per dog. 2 dog max
This home does not allow smoking.
This home has Air Conditioning
There is also a 50 amp car charger in the garage.

This property is 10 star! The house is absolutely beautiful you can tell the owners/designers put thought into every piece of the house! The kitchen is a dream and has everything I needed to cook even cast iron! The garage was a huge plus too! Heated floors in the master bathroom! I could go on and on! The hot tub worked great and they had plenty of towels for it too! The beds were great too not all the same so we were able to move to a different one if one hurt our backs! The washer and dryer were nice and clean! The house is a bit of a drive up hill but we had not trouble even in the snow! We loved this property and will absolutely be back!

This house is even more lovely than the pictures. And no pictures could do justice to the VIEWS off the back porch, oh my gosh! Almost mesmerizing. Love that we could see the views from the master, the living room, and the kitchen sink (best way to do dishes!). Paper towels, toilet paper, coffee, dishwashing liquid, and laundry soap were all provided, and we were very grateful. The furniture and appliances were high end and beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped! Lots of streaming options and games available. We could tell we were staying in someone’s home that they had taken a lot of care and pride in, so thank you very much to the host! Communication with Maddie was great; she was on top of everything and very responsive (just general communication; we had zero issues while there!). Check out was straightforward and simple, just start the dishwasher. Location was perfect for us … between the town and the ski mountain; we really appreciated not having to drive thru town every morning, especially with the construction in Pagosa Springs. Our family was so comfortable here and enjoyed the home so much. Really cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay! Thank you; we hope to be back!

Breathtaking Views in a Stunning Home

We loved this home! The rustic cabin feel made us feel at home in the mountains. We enjoyed beautiful views from the lovely hot tub, too. The cherry on top was it is a dog friendly rental, and our Corgi enjoyed her stay as well. Highly recommend!

Perfect for family ski trip

Winter’s Cabin was beautiful, clean, and perfectly located for easy access to Wolf Creek Ski mountain. The deck is lovely with an incredible view and includes rocking chairs, a grill, a full dining table, and a hot tub! The house was beautiful and very comfortable for our family of 5.

Beautiful Home!

We loved this house. It was perfect. We ventured out every day for a hike. Lunch in town and then just enjoyed the very stocked kitchen, hot tub, outdoor balcony, beautiful view and absolutely gorgeous home every night.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Quiet and beautiful. A little scary for a single woman since it is so far from town. The place was very very nice. No instructions on how to use the hot tub so could not use it.
