The hotel (or motel) was really nice and even allowed us to check in two hours early, which gave me time to prepare for the Coachella event. The air conditioner was a bit loud, but after a fun night out, it didnât bother me much. We did see a cockroach in the bathroom, which might be due to the ground floor locationâunderstandable, but I hope that can be improved in the future.
The best part is the locationâitâs super close to the Coachella venue with no traffic issues, and I loved how convenient it was to park right outside the room. Overall, I really liked the stay and would definitely consider coming back next time I go to Coachella.
The place looks very old and ran down outside the rooms their is a big area with hobos. The rooms inside have old furniture and the sink clogged up every time we opened the faucet. Not worth the stay for the price. The main guy in the front was very friendly though.
Have been a member of Hotels.com for many years, this is the worst place I've ever stayed. Smoke alarm missing batters, front door latch extremely damaged, wall AC pushed inward, mold inside refrigerator, television remote control dirty and very sticking. The amount of roaches we saw in the room was absolutely mind blowing, unfortunately all the hotels around there were booked out due to a huge event going on in town. Extremely dirty room as well, felt unsafe as well.
Upon check in everything was normal besides being told 70$ over the phone and then asked to pay 75$ and then told cash only. We did end up paying only 70$ with my debit and proceeded to the roomâ unpackedâshowered and went to rest. Thatâs when we realized there were cockroaches in the bathroomâ in the shower, crawling up the toilet while I was literally on it, on the floor...
Then going into the room I saw quite a few moreâ on the floor, the walls, even in my clothes. By now Im just disgusted I ran to the office to see what accommodations would be made for us. We asked to switch rooms and we were told there were NO extra rooms available... uhm ok, so I asked if they could accommodate a free room for the next night due to it being almost 2 AM, again we were told NO. They said they could only refund me RIGHT THEN AND THERE and we would have to leave right away...? I went back to see ifI could handle it, as we had nothing that would b attracting theses awful creatures.I was too afraid to sit in the bed in fear the bugs were in the sheets or covers as well. I saw MORE roaches! I went back and said LETS GO. Instead of refunding cash so I could take it to the next hotel in mind and get a room right away he refused & said ONLY refund it back to my debit, which meant I wasnât seeing that money for a few days.
I had to pack up QUICKLY âwhile manager stood right outside my room. It was past 3 AM leaving the hotel with ZERO accommodations. Only an inaccessible refund. Thanks.
The place was not fitted with proper windows. So, it was extremely noisy from the road, the I-10 & freight trains running some 18 hrs./day. The worst nightmare were the cockroaches in the room, especially in the bathroom. I located at least 5 of them. When I wanted to show them to the manager / owner, he didn't want to see them & said I know, I know. I'm trying to include a few photos of the wildlife in the room, dead & alive.
