The country house is surrounded by greenery, near the medieval town of Palombara Sabina, and surrounded by a big garden with trees.
My name is Gregor and both with my mom Teresa will take care of you.
The Villa is located on extensive garden,that is 1200 square meters large. It is partly shaded by trees.
HOW MANY BEDROOMS?
4 bedrooms,3 of which with double beds and 1 with two double beds.2 king size beds, 2 queen size beds and a sofa bed. In total 10 sleep places.
HOW MANY BATHROOMS?
There are also two bathrooms ,one of them with a shower and the other with a bathtub.
DO YOU PROVIDE SOME EXTRA ITEMS IN THE BATHROOMS?
Soap,Shower gel,toilet papier and a blow dryer are available.
THE KITCHEN IS FULL EQUIPPED?
The Kitchen is full equipped: forks, knives,plates,glasses,microwave oven,gas oven,coffee machine,toaster,freezer,coffee or tee. Some basic stuff as salt,pepper,vinegar or different spices are available.
THERE IS INTERNET?
Wireless internet is available in all the house and soms in the garden.
THERE IS A TV?
Satellite Smart TV 40'' is available with a DVD player, a privat collection of DVD in different languages and a console NINTENDO with 25 games included.
DO YOU HAVE A WASHMACHINE?
In the kitchen there is a washmachine only for our guest.
CAN I USE FIREPLACE?
In the winter time we provide every day enough woods and to light the fire in the fireplace.In the house there are available 2 fireplaces.
HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR HOUSE COOL DURING THE SUMMER?
Due to the natural stone structure and the shade provided by the trees in the garden, there is always a pleasant indoor temperature, so air conditioning is not necessary. Furthemore our guest will find in each room a fan.
SHOULD I BRING TOWELS OR BEDSHEETS WITH?
We'll provide our guest towels and bedsheets. So you don't need to take them with you.
CAN I PARK MY CAR?
Free Park place is available in the garden or for one car in the car-garage.
CAN I BRING MY DOG/CAT WITH ME?
It is possibile carry on your pets with you here. Please ask about at the moment of request.
IT IS POSSIBLE TO MAKE BARBEQUE IN THE GARDEN?
Yes of course. In the garden our guest can use:
-Small kitchen with a Big Table so in hot Weather you can spend some time sitting and cooking with your family/friends.
-Barbecue facilities.
-Gazebo in the ground provided with a seesaw,a stone dining table and a hammock.
-Bathroom.
-Sing set for children.
HOW BIG IS THE SWIMMING POOL?
The swimmingpool is only for our guest. It is a open Wooden 450x450x140 octagonal swimming pool, suitable for 10 people.
IS THE SWIMMING POOL HEATED?
The swimming pool is not heated and it can be used generally from half May till Oktober.
DO YOU HAVE OTHER FACILITIES FOR THE SWIMMING POOL?
Our guest can use the solar shower next to swimming pool, the beech chairs and a sun ombrella provided with light.
I WOULD LIKE MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE SAUNA AND BUBBELBAD?
At our guests' disposal there is a large panoramic sauna fueled by a wood stove. The temperature that is reached varies between 50 and 70 degrees Celsius.
The Bubbelbad is even fueled by a wood stove and covered. This service have a extra cost.
WHICH ARE THE OPENING RULES OF THE SAUNA FACILITIES?
The Sauna and bubble bad are open for our guest from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m.
DO YOU PROVIDE SOME EXTRA ITEMS FOR THE SAUNA?
Sauna towels and bathrobes can be rented directly at the facility for âŹ5 per person.
DO YOU PROVIDE A TAXI SERVICE?
Yes, we can provide our guest a taxi transport with this prices. It has to be requested almost one day before, to be sure about availability.
-There is available a taxi transport from/to Ciampino or Fiumicino Airport directly to our home holiday (from 55âŹ).
-There is available a taxi transport to the most turistic place in the neighborhood, like Rome or Tivoli or to Civitavecchia, just ask me!(from 20âŹ)
THERE IS A PIZZA HOME SERVICE IN YOUR AREA?
There is available a Pizza delivery service from Tuesday to Sunday, from 18 to 21.30 p.m. You can find different Pizza's,Mixed frieds, different vegetables meal and drinks. Pizza is delivered.
THERE IS A RESTAURANT THERE AROUND?
We have several Restaurant,Trattoria,Pizzeria in the range of 5 km from our place.
WHERE I CAN FIND SOME SHOPS IN THE ARES?
There are several supermarket,discounts and farms with own-made chees and meat in the range of 5 km.
CAN I BUY SOME BIOLOGIC OR FARM-TO-TABLE PRODUCTS?
We are in contacts with many local farm and we can provide for our guest different fresh products as olive oil,jam,vegetables,chees,fruits,bread..All the grocery can even be delivered. A whole list of products is available at our place.
DO YOU PROVIDE A BREAKFAST ?
Breakfast is optional. If requested we supply different kinds of food that can vary from sweet to salty, on request, such as: tea and herbal teas, Neapolitan Borbone or Passalacqua coffee in pods, farm fresh milk, different fruit juices, glass HERO single dose jams, chocolate spread organic, single-serving glass millefiori honey, ricotta and fresh yoghurt, cereals or muesli, wholemeal rusks, toast bread, various pastries such as biscuits or homemade pie, eggs or sliced meat, seasonal fruit. The cost is 8 euro each person.
CAN I GET SOMETHING COOKED AT HOME?
We can provide our guest a full lunch or dinner meal with 5 courses. Antipasto,different Pasta courses,Main course, Side order a Dessert and a bottle of wein (price starting from 20⏠a complete meal each person, up 5 people). The whole menu is available at our place.
CAN YOU ARRANGE A CAKE FOR SPECIAL EVENTS?
We are in contact with a pastry shop in the area, which can bring here your personal cake, with decoration and your name, so as you wish.
DO YOU PROVIDE SOME COOKING LESSONS?
Yes, if our guest are interested, we offer some special cooking lessons, which Mrs Teresa will give against payment. It is possible to learn some special reciepe as different pasta's courses, gnocchi,lasagne,ravioli and other cake preparation.
THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY TO MAKE A GUIDED TOUR IN THE PARK WHERE YOU BELONG, ' PARCO DEI MONTI LUCRETILI' ?
Yes this is possible. We are in contact with a official guide of the park. If you will request in advantage, you can book your own personal one day/half day tour, decide which time to start and which tour (there are really a lot). The price is 15 euro each person (it could be a minimum number of participants). However there are common guided tours every saturday and sunday in the park,where you can join to at the price of 8 euro each person. The schedule and the programs are available on request.
DO YOU PROVIDE SOME SPECIAL DISCOUNTED TICKETS TO THERMAL BATH?
In the period of end may to half september, there are available discounted tickets to the Thermal Bath 4 km away (about 6⏠children and 10⏠adult).
DO YOU PROVIDE SOME TOURISTIC INFORMATION FOR YOUR GUEST?
At home our guest will find many different touristic information about Rome and all the main touristic attractions around as Palombara Sabina,Tivoli,Subiaco,Rieti,Calcata. Furthemore we let our guest use our own guide.
HOW IS THE BEST WAY TO GET TO ROME FROM YOUR PLACE?
Driving 10 minuts by car from our place, there is a train station. You can park there for free your car. There is a train around every 15 minuts to Rome,as Tiburtina Metro B Station, Tuscolana Metro A Station, Trastevere Station,Fiumicino Airport Station. It takes around 30 minuts to get to Rome from our train station, 'Pianabella di Montelibretti'.
HOW MUCH IT COSTS THE TRAIN TICKET?
The train ticket to Rome costs 2,10 euro to Tiburtina Station and 11,50 euro to Fiumicino Airport. This is a sigle train ticket. However it is available for 8 euro a B.I.R.G. , a train ticket valid for all the day even for all busses and metro's line in the city of Rome.
WHERE I CAN BUY THE TRAIN TICKETS?
There is a small Bar next to train station, where the tickets are sold. The tickets are also available by the bar of petrol station 'D'amica' 500 meters far.Children till 4 years old have not to pay.
HOW TO REACH YOUR PLACE BY CAR?
The best way to get directly to the villa is to take, from Rome, the great ring road G.R.A. and go to exit number 8 direction 'Terminillo-Rieti'. Than go straight following the Salaria road until you have to turn on right to ' Palombara Sabina / Terme Sabine di Cretone'.After that, 10 minuts driving and you are at destination. Another choose is to take the exit to 'Highway Firenze' from the great ring road in Rome and take the first exit on right to 'Settebagni', than following as above on Salaria road till Palombara Sabina.
