Beach Cottage- Steps to beach, Private pool, one level 3bed 3bath

A Ray of sunshine is located in the charming, gated community of Carillon Beach. Only minutes from 30A. After visiting Carillon Beach for over 7 years, we loved it so much, we purchased this home in March of 2018! Our house sits just steps from beach walkover 2.

There is about a mile stretch of white sugar sand and beautiful ocean. I find myself taking pictures every single trip. We have never gotten over what a beautiful place this is!

Our home has NO stairs. The front porch is welcoming and the favorite place to hang. The master opens to the back deck which overlooks our private pool. The pool can be heated in the cooler months. You'll see this home is ideal for families with kids, both young and older.

We have 3 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms have queen beds; 3rd has 2 sets of bunk beds with full mattresses on bottom bunks. Each bedroom has its own full bath room. Sleeps 8 to 10 people. The master bedroom has access to private outdoor shower with hot and cold running water, which is a great treat after a day at the beach.

Carillon is a quiet gated community with paved roads and sidewalks that create a safe place for children and families to ride bikes and walk to activities. There are 3 pools available for your use in the community; a lakeside pool, beachside and parkside pool. The Bellview Park has a playground , tennis courts, basketball court and an open grassy area.

Carillon has a cute, quaint town center. During the summer you can enjoy outdoor concerts on the green and various children's activities. There is also a chapel and a gift shop that rents bikes, paddle boards and kayaks in town center. There are 2 restaurants in this area.

Our home is also walking distance to Lake Powell, a brackish water lake, that you can do every water activity you can think of including jet skiing, and boating.

Our home comes with a beach chair service, which includes 2 chaise lounge chairs and a large beach umbrella. Beach chair service runs March 15 to October 15 of each year.

Carillon is located 5 minutes by car from the beginning of the famous stretch of highway, 30A

Conveniently located 1/4 mile from 2 grocery stores: Publix and Winn Dixie

Please Note: Home is SMOKE FREE and NO PETS ALLOWED. There is an age restriction and number of occupants restriction. Reservations not accepted for students or singles under age of 25.

Didn't want to go home!

We absolutely fell in love with this house and the neighborhood, it was so charming, peaceful, and perfect for families. The beach was just a short walk away, and the private pool made it feel like a true getaway. We rented bikes and would ride over for ice cream in the evenings, which made it even more special. We even had an issue that was our fault and the owner was so kind and accommodating. Already looking forward to booking it again!

A wonderful stay

Ray of Sunshine was perfect for our family of 6. The kids loved the bunk room. It was a safe home with small children thanks to no stairs and the gated pool. We highly recommend to families with small kids.

Steve is a wonderful host! Very quick to answer questions and very kind. The house was the perfect location and fit our family of four plus grandma comfortably. The pool was a big hit for our 2 year old and 9 year old boys. Would stay again and highly recommend!

Another perfect beach trip!

This was our third stay at Ray of Sunshine! We love this house! A private pool and less than a block to the beach! We love this neighborhood! Think Rosemary Beach 20 years ago. Drive to Rosemary is only 5 minutes away so u can still go to your favorite restaurants.

Wonderful Vacation in a Wonderful House

We had an amazing time in Carillon Beach and loved staying at this house! The neighborhood is absolutely perfect. It is quiet, safe, and beautiful! We were able to walk to the beach, 2 small restaurants, a coffee shop, a general store, and a playground. Having a pool at the house was so nice, as our three daughters always had something to do! The house is clean and had everything we needed. We are hoping to come back to visit soon!

Wonderful Week

Couldn’t have asked for a better location. Loved having a pool and the host was very hospitable and on point with instructions. The only negative was the shower situation in the primary bath. We didn’t mind it being outside, as it was private, however with a bad knee, I was not able to climb over the tub. Fortunately, we were able to use the other bathroom. I would definitely book this home again.

Wonderful Stay

Adorable!

We love staying at a Ray of Sunshine! It fits our family of 5 perfectly and we hope to bring friends for the teens with us on our next visit. The location is ideal for beach access, and the pool is a perfect way to relax after a day at the beach. The community has the same feel as Rosemary Beach without all crowds! It’s quiet and clean and beautiful. The house has everything you need for a relaxing family getaway!

Beautiful home

I stayed here with my husband and two grown daughters. It was the perfect size for us. The beds and sheets were so comfortable. Even the towels were soft and new. There was an excessive heat warning all week so we spent every day in the pool. We loved having a pool at the house. There are chairs around the pool in the shade and a deck with chairs which made it nice. The backyard is private and quiet. We also loved the outdoor shower off the master bath. You could access it from the outside or through the master bath tub. It was one of our favorite parts of the house. There are two other showers if you don’t want to use the outdoor one. The house is only a few doors down from the beach so it’s a great location. This is our fourth time staying in Carillon and we love how it’s gated, quiet, safe and has beautiful homes. We rented a golf cart for the week from a business at Carillon and they delivered and picked it up. Very fun to have to drive around the neighborhood. The house is very clean. We had such a relaxing vacation. Would stay here again!

Week with family

Wonderful week with family at Ray of sunshine!! Very nice home, spotless, great condition and well stocked. First time in Sunnyside (have stayed along the coast many times) but LOVE the neighborhood. Quiet, friendly, quaint neighborhood feel like 30a used to be but easy access to anything needed just down the road. Shaded pool for a quick dip after the 1/2 block walk back from uncrowded beach. Quick communication with owner, highly recommend. Thanks

Spring Break Vacation

A Ray of Sunshine is a beautiful house inside and out. It is located in the private community of Carillon Beach which was quiet and had all sorts of wonderful amenities all within walking distance. Our three boys were in the pool everyday, so paying extra for having it heated was well worth it. We were also just a block away from the beach which was so convenient. The owners were great to work with and very communicative. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful and amazing

This was our first stay at Carillon Beach. The property is absolutely amazing - beautifully decorated, 20 feet from the beach walkover and one of the only properties that has a private pool. We were down there for tropical storm Fred and the owners checked in on us repeatedly to make sure we had all the essentials for a power outage. Even the neighbors were amazing.

Beach Vacation

A Ray of Sunshine is a wonderful home at Carrillon Beach. Three bedrooms and three baths were perfect for our family. The master bath shower is outdoors which we found to be less steamy and very refreshing. The adults loved the backyard pool during our 1 year olds afternoon naps. We hope to return next year.

Nice one story home and pool!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at A Ray of sunshine! Steve called to make sure we didn’t have any questions before our stay. House was very clean when we arrived at 3pm! Nice having everything on one floor and no steps to maneuver with little ones. The house held our 2 families (4 kids ages 3-9) very nicely. The pool was perfect to have right outside our back door especially on one of our double red flag days at the beach. We would definitely stay here again!
