Property was super busy, but well-maintained and easy to navigate. Even being on the higher floors, the elevators moved quick and wait times werenât terrible. All amenities were great and the location was superb. This condo was very clean. Would recommend!
No communication about having to pay $85 for parking and wristbands was not discussed anywhere was hit with that blindsided get in the room. The floors are nasty go to cook supper all the dishes look like a dog had liked on them and had stuff all over them had to re-wash all the dishes refrigerator barely keep anything cold. The pool area was full of a bunch of drunks drinking in the pool eating in the pool pool water was nasty every morning. Sand area was nasty step on stuff every time you walk on the sand. Nothing compared to Destin, Destin is so much better.
Overall great experience. The room was very clean and was perfect for our family. Great view of the ocean and pool. The only negative thing to say was about the elevators. Very slow.
This is the second time staying at the Shores of Panama and I would recommend it to anyone. The only dislike I have is the layout of the parking garage; however, it in no way takes away from the overall pleasurable stay.
The room was overlooking the absolutely gorgeous pool which was overlooking the ocean and the room was absolute clean and roomy we loved our stay and will stay again !!!
The property was very clean and nice. It would have been nice if they would have had the tiki bars open. The coffee bar in the lobby is absolutely amazing.
The location is amazing, i had stayed here before and booked directly through the property. This time i used VRBO since it was a better deal. Our apartment unfortunately did not measure up to our expectations. Lets start by saying that first there were still hair from previous tenant on the bathroom, and on kitchen cabinets. The carpet on the unit was very dirty and stained. The quality of the mattress was horrible, both from the sleeper sofa, and from the king bed. The sleeper sofa you could fell the springs on your rib cage, and im pretty sure the king mattress was broken in the middle. We would wake up with our body hurting everyday. The bunk beds mattress was what saved us and we ended up putting them on the floor of the living room. The washer and dryer was a plus, although out clothes smelled a little funky since the machine smelled funky. You can tell that whoever owns this unit does not really care about the up keep.
The room is exactly as the pictures show. Amazing views and comes with everything you need. Lounger is still broken but it wasnât that much of an inconvenience. Parking and elevators are a nightmare at certain times of the day. If you plan on going out for the night, plan on leaving before 4:30 to avoid everyone leaving at once or plan on it taking over an hour to leave. At certain points during our trip they only had 3 working elevators. If you have kids and want to spend the day at the beach get down there early and plan to leave between 2-3 and you will never have to worry about the elevator and parking inconveniences.
The property was fine as others have previously stated to store food and lay your head at night.
We liked the pool and the ease to the beach. Elevators were a wait, but that is expected at these types of places this time of year.
What was not expected was paying the amount of money and entering a dwelling that had not been updated in many years. Broken chairs and bedding were not available. We do bring our own of most things but needed an extra blanket after settling for the night and could only find pillows everywhere. There was no one to call and even if you did the numbers given did not get anyone to answer.
Also, had to pay $60 on top of the expenses already paid when we got there for parking and wrist bands that had to be worn at all times.
The room was okay, it was good enough for what we needed. The lounge chair was broken and not able to be used. The closet door in master wouldn't close either. This property has a great pool and easy beach access. You do have to pay an additional $69 for wrist bands and a parking pass on top of what you already paid for the room. Parking garage is small but doable. The elevator were a pain the first day but fine after that as long as you were at the side ones not by the garage. We did enjoy our stay. The room was enough for what we needed a place to keep some food and drinks cold and a place to sleep.
Loved the condo. Elevators were busy at times but thatâs to be expected with 23 floors. Parking deck got crowded as well, not a lot of room to park in reserved spot if you have a large vehicle. Pool and beach were very crowded. But overall we had a great time.
