This 15th floor gulf front condo is one of the nicest condos at the Boardwalk complex. It has a very nice posturpedic mattress on the queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

It also has high speed wireless internet and a phone with free long distance.

Parking & Resort Registration:
Boardwalk requires all guests to pre-register prior to arrival. A registration link will be sent to you closer to your check-in date to complete this process. In addition, resort-issued armbands are required for all guests and are $6 plus applicable taxes per person.

Overall a nice stay!Condo is beachfront with a spectacular 15 floor view of the Gulf of Mexico. The resort is older but nice with plenty of parking, luggage carts and elevators. The unit was spacious with a good layout. Overall the unit needs a pretty good deep clean and updating. The kitchen was not as clean as I would have liked—I felt like I needed to wash the dishes, cups and utensils before I used them. The appliances are old and definitely have seen better days—we only used the microwave, stovetop and toaster (the blender needs to be replaced—it was dirty, old and greasy). The beds were comfortable and linens were clean, extra pillows are available, but did not have pillow cases and no blankets were provided (thankfully we brought our own from home). The rest of the furnishings were comfortable, however they do have a significant amount of wear, but it was nothing that wasn’t expected in a beach rental. The unit was equipped with towels, washcloths, hand towels and 1 kitchen towel and starter soaps, toiletries, dishwasher powder, laundry detergent and paper towels/toilet paper. The pool area was nice and had a beachside restaurant with entertainment at night. The beach is easily accessible and there is an umbrella and chair rental close by (40/day). The location is great—close by Ripley’s, Coconut Creek, Walmart and the sling shot. The condo is managed by Emerald Coast Destinations, they are very responsive and communication is excellent.

Nice condo, could use some TLC though.

We’ve stayed at Boardwalk for about 10 years, and we have stayed in many condos. This one was fine, definitely needs some TLC around the unit. Example, the top bunk in the bunk room is cracked on the railing which could be dangerous for a child of age. Needs a good deep cleaning more than the usual housekeepers job. Also, the kitchen needs more of the essentials such as hand towels.

I don’t know if there is room enough to write about all that was wrong with this place! The two chairs in the photo were filthy! Plus when you sat in them the springs were broken, you sunk to the floor. There was no rug. There was another chair but it too was filthy. The king bed mattress was so curved you would roll to the middle. The bar stool were broken. I doubt good will would take this furniture. The drapes in the king bedroom were also nasty. I will never book with VBRO again. It ruined our vacation! M. M. Goscha

Dingy and Unsanitary

While the surfaces and sheets were clean everything else was deplorable. The smell upon entry of mildew indicates moisture and unsanitary material. The linen - comforters, pillows, mattress and all cloth items - drapes need replacement. Blood on pillows, Mattresses lumpy, top blanket dingy and old. Blinds stained, walls stained, mildew doors and outside balcony needs pressure washing. Floors appear dirty. Nothing appears fresh and clean except white linen. Didn’t want to sit on the couch with a blanket. The chairs need steam cleaning. Stained and possibly also retaining awful smell of wet dog/mildew. For the price and things that need to be updated no reason better accommodations weren’t provided. Painting and deep cleaning surfaces and furniture it’s crucial. Would never return to that unit.

Good experience

We were on the 15th floor, but there were five elevators making for good vertical transportation. The pool was great, with areas for younger kids, and access to the beach was very convenient. Some of the chairs in the unit had an odor and could stand a little cleaning. Otherwise, things were good. We had a couple of maintenance requests which were handled quickly and effectively.

Loved the complex location!

Super easy check in. Was worried being on a higher floor but elevators were very quick and available quickly. Place was great. Only thing I would suggest better mattress for the master and a small TV for the bunk room. The pool, beach, view and onsite ammentiies (gym, small store, bar and grill) were perfect! Definitely be back to PCB!

Dissatisfied

Well as soon as we walked n the door the right side of the facing was off just laying up against the wall. The bottom of the facing was mildewed & the bottom of the wall was also. The bottom of the microwave was broke & the shower towel holder n the master bathroom was broke. There was only1dishrag & 1dish towel. There was no extra toilet paper just the one on the roll & no extra paper towels just the one on the holder no extra trash bags but the one n the garbage can. the furniture was terrible especially the rocking chair had stains on both sides especially 1 side was horrible. I also appreciate shamika a security guard n the pool area that has been there since 2012. She was very helpful & awesome. Loved her.

Great view and large. Problems with housekeeping. Potato chips and sand on sofa sleeper and stains on mattresses which were not comfortable. Maintenance was very helpful by unstopping commode and bringing new cookware after we notified the company. Wonderful view!!!

We loved our stay at Boardwalk. Our condo could use a little deep cleaning and the furniture could use some updating, curtains need replaced, but it didn’t stop us from enjoying our trip. We will be back!

The Boardwalk is great and we have stayed many times but in this case we purchased cleaning supplies and mopped the floors, wiped down and sanitized counter tops, etc. We also acquired towels as there were on a few in the entire unit. You need new management!

Never Again

The online photos are old. The furniture is old, the pull out sofa is unfit to sleep on. The bunks are not those in the photos. They are oversized for the room, will little walking space and no TV. The secondary bathroom tub/shower fills with water immediately and one of the master sinks stopper is broken so it fills with water also. Drawers are broken in the fridge and the unit needs more silverware-5 forks. I have stayed at Boardwalk multiple times in other units. I will continue to go back but never to this unit. Last but not least, one of my daughters got locked INSIDE the unit. The deadbolt would not open from the inside. She was trapped for over an hour until maintenance came. They removed the deadbolt and came back two hours later with a new one. Scary stuff!

Need updates, kitchen stuff and cleaning.

Please fix the wall, deep cleaning, upgrade the kitchen with necessary items and check the cleaning. The sheets are unchanged, curtains falling down and very dirty, not enough towels, dining rooms chairs was broke and left in a master room closet, tv smart remote from living room not found in the living room, bathroom s and kitchen was not clean at all and also the floor was very dirty. I was very disappointed if the conditions of the place. The walls need paint and the living room couch needs replaced. I don’t report any of this after my arrival because I need to spend time with my family and enjoy my stay on the beach, but I hope you review this and call me back. Anca Ifrim - 615-522-4210.

Dirty would be an understatement

Upon check appeared housekeeping had never cleaned. The Floors turned your socks black instantly. All the towels were dirty on top of the dryer. We found random items like a shoe, trash and what looked like a blood stains in a chair in the living room. a box of condoms in the bed side drawer. Broken ladder for the bunk beds. Random broken chair in the master bedroom closet. All the curtains were disgusting. Spend our first night doing all the housecleaning before we could relax from our six hour drive. Would not ever stay here. After multiple phone calls to property management still nobody has returned my calls. Apparently staffing had gotten so bad the condo employees crack heads a pool “safety” personnel. And don’t forget to wear your hideous purple wristbands that are NOT easily removed, if you don’t they will make you go back you your room and put it on.

Enjoyed but

Enjoyed our stay for the week. Only thing is we had to do without clothes dryer all week. The day we got there noticed it wasn’t drying. Emailed the rental and never got response. Called them and they told us they notified maintenance but was rude and just hung up after her response. Dryer was never looked at or fixed while we were there. Everything else was great!!

Not clean

I would not stay in this condo again. It was outdated and dirty. When we arrived there was water bottles underneath the beds and furniture. The floors were still sandy. The condo balcony was sticky and had broken pieces of glass. The dryer did not work, the furniture in the living room was dirty. In the bathrooms the grout was black, the tub was slow to drain, the tub had mold around it and mold on the shower curtain. The barstools were broken the utensils had rust on them, and the refrigerator worked but had broken shelves and mold around the ice dispenser. The property itself was great but not the condo. Would never stay in that condo again.
