Our stay was so nice. It met all of our expectations-condo and location was absolutely perfect. Shops, food, beach and pool all right there! It was so nice and made our trip so easy and enjoyable. My only complaint was how the property management handled a situation blaming me and accusing me of disrupting the cleaning crew (which was one woman) who was so kind and left as we dropped our bags and walked out with her before checking in and getting our code with access to the condo. To be told they were charging me 168. I asked to talk to management and they were so responsive and quickly rectified the situation refunding me the money so all was well! They handled it professionally and quickly! But not the way I wanted to start my vacation-very unsettling to me as we had just arrived and excited to start our vacation. It was unsettling not knowing if I made the wrong choice in our stay with that type of treatment. Only other thing is it would be so nice if beach towels were provided as this is a lot to pack and would be so nice to have at the place as well as enough toilet paper and paper towels for the place during our stay.However, all was great and turned out well. I would book again at this unit! Loved your place and made for a great vacation
Overall, the place was very clean, and the location was excellent. Responsiveness of property management was great, and we ended up extending our stay for another day easily. A few items that would've improved the stay are as follows: 1.) when we arrived to the condo, the ice maker wasn't on, so there was no ice to be found. This was easily resolved by turning the ice maker on, but it was inconvenient to not have ice initially. We had to go buy a bag of ice. 2.) This is small, but the trash can was broken and made a loud noise everytime it closed. 3.) Recommend having smart TVs in every room. Every bedroom had a TV, but they were not smart TVs. Only the TV in the living room was a smart TV. 4.) By far, the biggest inconvenience of the trip was that the big community pool was green, and you could not see the bottom of the pool. I notified property management who notified the HOA, and the pool was closed for the last 2 days of our trip while it was being treated. 5.) The pool security guard wasn't particularly kind or friendly. Wish he would have paid more attention to the status of the water in the big pool as opposed to whether or not people had their wristbands on.
Condo looked just like the pictures. Clean, comfortable, and ent if space for the family. We could hear the live band at night, which saved us from the heat. The pool was great for toddlers, and the BBQs were awesome. Parking was easy, and the location was perfect for biking.
I brought my two daughters and two of their friends for spring break. We loved the bikes, the location and the swimming pool! The beach was very crowded, and we were unfamiliar with the rules at first. We spent more time off the beach because of this. super cute restaurants in the area. The unit was the perfect size for the five of us and had everything we needed.
Could not have picked a better location! We will be back! It was an easy walk to Rosemary or Alys beach. The tram to the beach was the icing on the cake!
Beautiful property across the street from the beach and only a few miles from the public beach access. Short walk to nearby Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach.
Upon arrival the condo looked somewhat clean, but quickly showed the cleaning personnel did not do a thorough job. Hairballs on the floor, dust on everything, glass tables with a dirty film, bath rugs visibly stained and sand in some of the beds. The floor in the whole condo was visibly dirty and we ended up washing it and spending money on cleaning products. The dishwasher went out and we had to call 3 times for someone to come out to address it and it failed again right as we left. The closet doors were also halfway off their tracks. if you are traveling with a little one, this is not a great stay just because of the dirtiness and being without a dishwasher. Also, donât even look in the closet with the water heater, yikes. Would rate this place a C-, however the location was excellent, walking distance to most things we did and the pools provided were clean and enjoyable.
Loved the space of the condo and location. Comfortable beds. However, we had trouble with the air. They came to fix it, but it still had issues keeping cool. Kept curtains and lights off. Also, the broil on the oven didnât work and we couldnât get the toaster oven to work either. The refrigerator takes a while to get items cool. Do not put a lot of drinks in at once.
Always love staying in Seacrest town square in the condos. Great location.
However a few things needed attention:
1. The listing shows a 3:00 check in, however, we didnât get a code until 4:00pm.
2. There was only 1 hair dryer for a 3 bedroom unit. This shouldnât have happened. There were 4 women who stayed here and I emailed asking about this and got no response.
3. The guest bathroom toilet had major problems. The flush lever was broken and kept falling off. The toilet ran non stop unless we took the lid off and wiggled the inside parts to make it stop. The toilets are both very old and have flushing issues- replacing toilets is inexpensive.
4. No kitchen dish soap was provided. I have never stayed in a vrbo that didnât provide at least hand soap but there was nothing.
These little things (extra hair dryer, kitchen hand soap, toilet fixed) donât cost much and should be standard!
However, the location is excellent! I donât think Iâd stay in this unit again. There are some things that the owner/management company could do that would take this from a decent stay to an excellent stay! Always love 30A though.
We have been staying in this area for about 12 years. This is the first time not renting a house in the Seacrest neighborhood. We did like the location of the condo above Peddler's Pavilion and enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night watching and listening to the music when we weren't down in the middle of it. The condo was big enough for 6 people. The cleanliness of the condo was fair. Food particles on barstools, plastic wrap on bathroom floor, bathroom rugs need to be washed or replaced and floors need to be mopped. Just a little TLC would go a long way!
We were disappointed in the amount of trash in the parking lot the was not picked up from the dumpster and the smell was awful. The beach was overcrowded and most of it is marked off as private use only. You have to mark your spot by 6:30-7:00 a.m. or you won't get a spot. By midday you are sitting on top of each other. Not my idea of a relaxing day at the beach. We spent two days at Grayton Beach and one at Inlet because of this situation. It just stinks to have to drive pack up and drive to the beach!
30A has become very overcrowded. Miss the way it was. We are looking for a new low-key place to vacation.
Linda and Cassie with 30A Escapes were so easy to communicate with and made sure everything was taken care of for our very relaxing week at the beach. The property was beautiful. Loved the high ceilings throughout and the live music downstairs each night. The fresh linens that were provided were also a bonus. There were than ample supply of towels for the five of us. The property included 3 very nice bikes which were perfect for the 3 16 y/o boys to get around. We enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. Never minded the short walk to the beach as the trade off at night with the dining and entertainment was well worth it. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to return next year!
