We take your safety and security seriously and this property has special local compliance requirements of a signed rental agreement and ID verification. To make this easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it's a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.

Additional Information:
*Guests are required to pay a $60.00 parking pass fee separately from the reservation total. Max 1 pass per reservation. Once your reservation is booked, we will need your email address as required by the resort to send information and instructions for paying for the parking pass. The pass must be printed prior to your arrival, left in your windshield and displayed for entry and exit to the gated parking garage upon arrival and throughout your stay. Calypso Resort & Towers does not allow trailer parking, golf carts, scooters, mini vehicles or boats of any type on premises or in the parking deck. Max vehicle height is 7' and there is no promise of onsite parking for oversized vehicles.

-Please see below for Calypso's policy on Beach Chair & Tent Policy.

-It is a felony to throw anything off of the balcony. You will be ejected immediately and no refunds will be given.

-No smoking or vaping, no pets, and no events allowed.

-Guests must be 21 years of age or older to rent and are required to email a photo ID at the time of booking. The guest making the reservation must also be present for the duration of the stay.

-Third party bookings are NOT allowed.

-A signed rental agreement and full payment are required to confirm your reservation. Arrival information will not be released until both requirements are completed. Once all requirements have been met, your door code will be provided through the Happy Guest platform at 12:00 PM CST on your arrival day. Additional property details will become available after the rental agreement has been signed and a valid ID has been submitted.

-Check-in is anytime after 4 PM Central Time. You may request an early arrival for an additional fee; however, please note that it is not guaranteed, as it depends on the availability of the unit after morning check-outs and the cleaning & inspection schedule. If you require an early arrival, you may consider booking for the night prior.

-Check-out is strictly at 10 AM Central Time. Any departure after this time will result in an additional fee.

-Quiet hours are 10pm to 7am per the City of Panama City Beach Noise Ordinance

-Please understand that Florida's natural environment includes bugs, insects, ants, mosquitoes, and spiders. We perform regular interior and exterior pest control, but keeping doors, windows, and sliders closed will help prevent entry. No refunds will be issued for sightings of bugs or wildlife in or around the property.

-Supplies:
We provide a starter pack of supplies, including 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 trash bag per trash can, 1 packet of dish detergent and 1 packet of laundry detergent, to get you started. For additional supplies, there are nearby stores. This is meant to get you through your first day or so until you can get to a store.

-By renting this home you acknowledge that you understand you enter and occupy the premises at your own risk and that the homeowner and Sun & Sand Rentals are not and will not be responsible for injuries or deaths that may occur on our property. You, and all of your guests attending, agree that everything you use is at your own risk, including any beach equipment left on the property. By renting this home, you agree that you are also financially responsible for any third party damages that are caused by your group. Neither the homeowner or Sun & Sand Rentals are liable, financially or otherwise, for any accidental or intentional third party damages your party causes.

CALYPSO BEACH CHAIR & TENT POLICY
Effective 8/1/2025
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this policy is to preserve the safety, beauty, and enjoyment of the Calypso Resort beachfront for all guests and owners. It ensures compliance with local regulations, supports organized Beach Chair Services, and upholds Bay County's Leave No Trace ordinance.

DEFINITION OF TERMS:
‱ Beach Chair Services:
A professional vendor contracted to provide beach chairs and umbrellas daily for use by registered Calypso guests and owners.
‱ Umbrella:
A single-pole shade structure inserted into the sand with no additional supports, frames, tie-downs, or multiple ground contact points.
‱ Tent Structure:
Any item with multiple support legs, frames, ropes, anchors, or extended fabric, including but not limited to:
-Pop-up tents
-Canopies
-Sunshades
-Temporary enclosures
MHWL (Mean High Water Line): The average daily high tide mark used as a baseline for legal beach access and structure placement.

POLICY:

1. Beach Chair Setup:
Beach Chairs and Umbrellas provided by Beach Chair Services are set up daily, beginning 30 feet from the MHWL, in compliance with local ordinances.
2. Personal Chairs and Umbrellas:
Guests and owners may bring and use personal chairs and umbrellas.
Personal umbrellas must meet the definition above (single-pole, no frames or supports).
Umbrellas must be securely anchored at all times to prevent uplift or injury caused by wind.
The owner of any personal umbrella is solely responsible for its safe use. If an umbrella becomes dislodged and causes injury or damage, the individual who brought and set up the umbrella assumes all liability.
Personal chairs and umbrellas must not overlap with Beach Chair Services setup or designated emergency access routes
3. Tent and Structure Placement Restrictions:
Tents, canopies, and other multi-support structures may not be placed in front of the Beach Chair Services setup.
These items may be used only in designated areas to the side of or behind the chair service line.
Signage will be posted at the beach access points to remind guests of proper tent placement and beach rules.
4. Prohibited Items:
No other permanent or temporary structures, enclosures, or buildings are allowed on the beach at any time.
5. Leave No Trace Compliance (Bay County Ordinance No. 1242):
No tents, chairs, umbrellas, or personal items may be left on the beach overnight.
Any belongings left unattended between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM will be considered abandoned and subject to removal.
6. Guest and Owner Compliance:
All visitors, registered guests, and owners must comply with this policy.
All registered guests will acknowledge and agree to these rules during the registration process.
Violations may result in fines to the owners and/or eviction of guests from the property.

We could tell it had been a while since the condo was cleaned. There was also a load of unwashed towels/wash clothes in the washer with detergent pods. Could not get cable on the TV, even with someone coming to try and fix it. Overall, would definitely stay there again!

Really enjoyed our stay. Living Room had plenty of of space for 6. Furniture was comfortable. Elevators were quick (a little backed up for move in and move out, as expected). Pools never too crowded. Great Fireworks viewing. Could walk to many restaurants. Overall great experience.

Enjoyed our stay overall although both sinks in the bathroom did not have stoppers that worked properly-broken Making it difficult to retrieve anything dropped in the sink. Couldn’t easily remove stopper once inserted.

Great Beachfront Condo

We loved the condo! View from the balcony was wonderful and the condo was well stocked with towels and linens as well as some beach chairs, toy and umbrella. The pools were awesome as they are heated and quite large. Pier Park is literally right behind the condos so we were able to walk to restaurants and other activities and only had to take our car out when we needed to run to target or Walmart (which are only like a 2 min drive). Our only issue was that all of the mattresses were super “mushy” so there was very little support and we had some back aches. But some people like their mattresses that way so that’s really just our personal preference. Overall, we had an awesome vacation and will definitely be back to PCB!

Excellent family vacation spot

This was our 2nd time staying in Florida and I must say that we enjoyed it this time even more. Check in process and customer experience was excellent. Amanda was amazing and responded quickly to any questions we had. The property was as described in the listing and truly had anything we needed and was fairly clean. The only thing we were unhappy with was the company that works with the resort on the beach chair rental. They would take up the entire beach displaying their beach chairs leaving others who have their own beach chairs with very little space. Other then that this was a great location and we can’t wait to go back.

A week at the beach!

We have stayed in Calypso for so long I don't even remember when we started. This condo was similar to other one BR in size and configuration. Overall, a nice place to stay for the week. We had teens with us, so the sturdy bunks worked out great for them as opposed to some other condos with lesser weight limits. The master was a little tight with the bed and bathroom door, but the size of the bed makes it nice to sleep in. The condo was clean and well stocked as advertised.

Calypso at PCB

The suite was nice. When we arrived the unit next to us was under renovation. They were removing tile. Power tools and banging. They did wait u til mid morning to start and we were about to leave for the day. It would have been nice to get a heads up. Lots of rules about cleaning up and pulling you own trash. Putting items in certain places or you will be charged $100. Two things that irritated me were the HVAC filters were filthy and needed to be changed months ago but rules about not following temperature settings etc cause wear on the system. Not changing filters is the worst maintenance issue for HVAC. There was sand in the closet floor but we could be subject to additional cleaning fees if we didn’t follow their rules. The cleaning fee is over $100 already. With all that said we liked the resort and enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely beautiful

The property was very clean with an amazing view. Additional beach chairs were provided. I only have one suggestion that some food utensils are changed out due to rust looking substance on it. I would return to this property to stay again.

Amanda was amazing to work with renting this property. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Elevators and parking was not an issue. I drive a Yukon XL and navigated the parking deck without issue. The unit could be a little cleaner (deep cleaning).

Amazing

Incredible location and the condo is exactly as described. After previously staying in a 1st floor unit, we were apprehensive about staying on the 19th floor. Our fears were all for not. The wait for elevators was minimal and the condo was perfect. We did have an issue with the dryer for the entire stay but the property manager was a true professional. It is rare to find anyone that cares about a problem as much as you but Amanda was terrific. She sent out two repair companies and always kept us informed. We will definitely be staying again!

The condo was clean and comfy. Location was great. Easy walking to pier and to Pier Park. Only complaints was dryer took forever to dry clothes, fridge would freeze items. Didn’t like the parking garage aspect. It was a long walk to garage and then trying to remember where you parked last. we really enjoyed the condo and would stay here again.
