Great condo at Sterling Breeze

The condo was awesome! It was clean, spacious, had a great view, we enjoyed having a grill and washer and dryer. Some numbers on the oven did not work and the washer and dryer combo felt like it took forever to dry. Other than that, I highly recommend this unit! We will definitely be staying there again!

Overall great stay!!

Vacasa was absolutely great!!! They were very accommodating during our stay and the communication was great!! It took me a while to leave this review because honestly they were so great and I didn't want to nitpick but I feel like some of the things need to be looked at for future guests. Over all the place is absolutely beautiful. Just as pictured....but upon getting settling in and using things there were several things we noticed. The sliding door from the master to the balcony was very hard to open and close. The bed in the master needed to be replaced, theres a thick mattress topper on the bed instead of replacing the mattress....which is fine at first but after waking up in the morning we were aching a bit. The glass shower door in the master bath wouldn't close all the way. The washer wouldnt ring all the water out of one of my blankets like it should and the dryer wouldn't dry it at all. I had to bring it home soaking wet. And the fridge leaked into one of the drawers. Like I said I hate leaving anything negative about the place because they really were wondering and it was beautiful with a beautiful view but I do feel like these things should be looked at for future guests.

Overall was a great week

We stayed in this condo during the week of July 4th. The condo was very nice! the extra bedroom actually had a King size bed even though listing had it as a Queen. With it being on the 5th floor we didn't have an awful time with the elevators, but during busy times those two elevators could take forever so we would take the stairs. The access to the beach only had stairs instead of a ramp access so people with the wagons were struggling getting them up and down to the beach. They also clogged up the whole access as it was pretty narrow. there is only one hose to wash off sand so you could be waiting in line to wash off your feet! I did love that beach chairs and umbrellas were a part of the condo price! There is no sidewalk for most of the way to Pier park so it is not really accessible unless you drive. Overall i would stay here again if i decided to rent a condo again instead of a stand alone house!

Great location

Condo is in a great location because it is walkable to Pier Park. The actual condo was a good fit for my family (4 adults and two kids under 2). The couch in the living room was a little dirty and should be updated. Since this condo is located right on the water, we assumed they provided beach towels but they do not. Would be nice if they did and the lounge chairs in the beach are not part of the condos, you will have to pay for them.

Needs TLC

Overall our stay was not impacted greatly but anyone not bringing their own cleaning supplies or who doesn’t expect to clean be warned. A lack of deep cleaning is evident throughout the unit and there are a number of items which seem to have long needed attention based on prior reviews. while they have been claimed to be fixed they are indeed still unresolved. The price of the stay definitely helped ease my frustration but moreover the owner should make a personal visit. Because of the level of design I suspect they meant this to be a more upscale unit but it has fallen from glory without a doubt. The bunks and bed in guest were all broken to some degree, thank goodness we only used the Master! The bed is the master however has softened greatly and my back was paying for it after a few days. Time for a replacement there if nowhere else. The tp holder in the bath kept falling off the wall. The kicktoe trim in the kitchen was off, the fridge still leaks and it’s likely the ice maker. We tried to fix it but couldn’t. One of those items that’s been on the list of complaints. There are several chipped plates and bowls. Again there were only 2 of us but it speaks to the lack of care to replace to meet guests expectations. The couch in the living room is horribly sunken where there’s a sleeper sofa, again back suffers beware! It’s the nature of such a sofa. The Floating Entertainment Center is falling off the wall, this is certainly a liability to small children. Why it hasn’t been dealt with is beyond me. The management company is lacking in their checking in of properties is the only conclusion I have. Finally, the cleaning. I’ll start with the washer. Again, as mentioned in previous complaints it was full of mold! This was my biggest heartache. We were there for 2 weeks so washing was a must! The rubber ring was covered in black mold! Not uncommon In Florida to occur but this was beyond any acceptable amount. I bleached the mess out of that ring and scrubbed with a toothbrush to remove as much as I could. I think I did a heck of job if you ask me. The second issue was the smell. Someone before us fried/cooked fish and it reaked to the heavens upon entering. 3 days later, along with Lysol and my air purifier we were able to minimize the smell. A load of towels awaited us in the washer. Finally the carpet, couch and light fixtures all need deep cleans. I cleaned some lights. Will only return if addressed so I can enjoy the beach

Gorgeous weather & beach!

Our group of 8 (2 separate families) had an amazing time. The weather was perfect. We enjoyed watching the dolphins out in the ocean daily. Oy condo had the perfect amount of room with a nice balcony for all of us to enjoy! I would definitely recommend this unit!!

Won’t Be Back

Horrible experience dealing with Vacasa who manages this property. Room was remodeled a few years ago and was “nice” other than: Cigarette butts on balcony, Balcony chairs & cushions had to be washed in order to sit on them, refrigerator drawers kept getting water in them (this was previously reported by another person and was supposedly fixed-wasnt), bunk room tv didn’t work (when reported to front desk they already knew it, said they were waiting on the owner to replace did give a small refund for this), balcony lights didn’t work (said some owners dont allow the lights to work on the balcony), door facing had something running down it in mb, door facing of kitchen pantry was filthy, bunk room bottom bunk is a futon therefore sags in the middle -not disclosed in listing to my knowledge. Gum doesn’t open until 10 am. Then there were the issues of some of the people in rooms around us...... this was our first and definitely our last stay in this building.

Lovely condo but needed repairs

Two problems cited in last review still hadn't been made -- seal of washer needed replacement (so bring plenty of clothes) and mattress on lower bunk bed/futon hadn't been replaced (I had to sleep on sofa pullout bed with 2 heavy blankets under me to bring a small amount of comfort). Now add water dripping into veg bin of frig to that list. It's a shame because the apt was lovely with spectacular view but I wouldn't return.

Oceanside property is the ultimate experience.

The large bathrooms are wonderful. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pans, cutlery, Tupperware. The deck chairs were comfortable. Large TVs were so nice. My husband would have enjoyed the college basketball games in a large overstuffed recliner but he was okay. Beautiful place to vacation.

Adorable Condo!

We loved the condo, less is more here. I’ve stayed in some that look great in pictures but are way too cluttered with decor for comfort. This one has the perfect balance between nicely decorated and livable. Very comfortable beds in the two main bedrooms. We also loved the Roku TVs in every room. I couldn’t figure out how to play regular tv in the master BR so it may not be an option, but didn’t matter to us since we watch Netflix. We also couldn’t get the DVD player to work in the living room, in case that’s something that matters to you (be sure and ask before going if it does). Those are more FYI’s than complaints as it didn’t affect our stay at all. I did remove one star for cleanliness because the washing machine needs a good cleaning. The front loader’s rubber threshold was covered in mold inside and out. Your housekeeper needs to be leaving it open after use, or wiping it down and drying it each time, especially inside the rubber lining. It was pretty bad. You might consider replacing the mattress on the bottom bunk as it’s sunken in the middle to a point of having to crawl out of it. It’s also very squeaky. My 12 year old still slept there even with other options, so I guess it wasn’t too horrible. :) If it matters to future renters, there are no wine glasses. Other than the washing machine issue that needs addressing, our stay was fabulous & we’d definitely stay here again!
