Disappointing Stay at MARINN Place – Wouldn’t Recommend Our experience at MARINN Place was far from what we expected. From the moment we checked in, we noticed cleanliness issues throughout the room. The bathroom sink was clogged, making it nearly unusable, and the shower had visible mold. The couch had a strong, unpleasant smell, which made it uncomfortable to sit on. At night, the noise level was unbearable. The surrounding area has loud music playing late into the night, making it difficult to get any rest. We also found the service to be lacking—when we reached out to the concierge for help, they were uninterested and kept pushing responsibilities back onto us. We attempted to book tours through the hotel, but the staff didn’t speak English, and any attempt at translating was met with a simple “no” to our requests. Breakfast was included in our stay, but it was terrible. The selection was extremely limited—just some old-looking cheese, bread, and eggs that had a strange taste and smell, and cereal with milk. It was unappetizing, and we ended up skipping breakfast altogether. Additionally, there weren’t many dining options nearby. The only decent place to eat was the W Hotel, which we ended up going to for meals. Overall, our stay was disappointing, and we would not recommend MARINN Place to others.

Room, lobby area dining area, and grounds were kept nearly spotless at all times. Staff was conscientious, knowledgeable, and always available and ready to assist. I have not had a better hotel experience than my recent 10-day stay at the Marinn.

The place was clean and peaceful. Breakfast was tasty and options were satisfactory. I didn’t like that our key card stopped working a few times and we had to ask to get it reset. This was a bit annoying.

Theyvadvertise a gym--I even called to make sure that was true and I was assured they had a moderate gym with equipment that matched their pictures online. We went to go use it...it was a completely empty room. They said it was being "renovated." There simply is no gym. They hosted several modeling shows during our stay so we also couldn't use the pool. Our room wasn't refreshed as they said it would be and on 2 occasions, I had to go track down toilet paper.

This was Hyatt Place before and is still amazing The staff is very Polite and eager to help. Rooms are good size and clean. Breakfast is lacking ina few places but for the price you cannot complain. The location is very conveneint for me and the Bar at the Hotel is also good.

This hotel was great. No complaints. The staff was helpful and friendly, the breakfast was great. Lots of options, hot food, good food and always present staff making sure everyone was comfortable and the place was clean. Rooms were big and cozy and most importantly...clean!

This hotel is a personal fave that will always have a special place in my heart… BUT they need to make some drastic changes. They have very limited dining options, there isn’t a gym anymore and the onsite laundry facility needs a major revamp.Still a great hotel for the price!

Excellent breakfast. Very close to metro station. Great shower. Pool is too small for swimming; just good for children to play. There is no gym anymore. My room key card stopped working four times in four days.
