ARSINOE 29 "Nest by the Sea": Lovingly + well furnished holiday apartment

The nest is called φωλιά (foliá)<br><br>"Arsinoe 29 Lodging" is a small, lovingly furnished, and very well-equipped apartment offering views of the sea and the rocky coastline of the Akamas Peninsula. <br>"ARSINOE 29 Lodging" is also our "nest by the sea" and therefore very personal. We love sharing it with our guests!<br> It is part of the "Arsinoe Beach Village" between Polis and Latchi. The beach is just about 100 steps away. <br>An ideal starting point and retreat for hiking vacations in the spring and fall, and perfect for beach vacations. Within walking distance—along a promenade right by the sea—the charming port of Latchi and the town of Polis, one of the most beautiful and unique places in Cyprus, are just a 15-minute walk away. <br>'Arsinoe 29 Lodging' features one air-conditioned bedroom with a 140-cm-wide box spring and a high-quality mattress. The spacious living room, featuring a well-equipped kitchen, a large balcony, and magnificent views in every direction, is the heart of the apartment. You’ll find a large selection of CDs and DVDs, various books, travel guides, and a modest collection of games.<br>ARSINOE 29 The lodging is a quiet and harmonious place!<br>Everything you need for a wonderful vacation is provided. A small garden in front of the apartment is also available for use (for example, for the provided lounge chairs for sunbathing). A small garden table with chairs invites you to have lunch during the months when the sun doesn’t reach the balcony until later in the day.<br><br> Latchi, with its fishing port, is a 10-minute walk along the beach promenade. There you’ll find a number of seafood restaurants, taverns, and cafés, as well as water sports providers offering everything from scuba diving lessons to surfboard rentals. From there, you can also take boat trips to the “Fontana Amorosa.”<br>There is a small selection of shops, banks, and bars in Latchi. For shopping, we recommend “Papantoniou,” the large supermarket in Polis, where you can find just about anything.<br><br>The campground is located on the beach promenade in the opposite direction, and a small side road leads to Polis Chrysochous, about 4 km away. <br>It is a picturesque town that has largely retained its original character. Today, about 1,200 Cypriots live there alongside a diverse group of European residents. Polis thrives on independent tourism!<br>Even the famous Dumont travel guide says: “There is no alternative to Polis anywhere in Cyprus.”<br>Polis and Latchi have a good selection of taverns, pubs, and restaurants. The most popular meeting spot is the quiet market square with its cafés.<br>Of course, you’ll also find grocery stores, post offices, banks, bike, motorcycle, and car rental companies, as well as agencies offering excursion packages. Polis has a small but interesting archaeological museum, a hospital, and a German-speaking doctor. <br>Polis features a sandy/pebble beach approximately 3 km long.<br><br>Akamas Peninsula: Nearby is the Akamas Peninsula, a magnificent, expansive national park with extensive, well-marked hiking trails. (A hiking guide is available in the apartment.)<br>For hiking, we recommend the months of March through May. The island is in full bloom during this time and smells wonderful on hikes. <br>But you can also hike in October/November—and, best of all, go for a swim afterward. Right now, the sea is still 20–23°! <br>Roads wind past beautiful mountain villages—for example, in the Paphos Forest at the foot of the Troodos Mountains. There are countless short and long hiking trails!<br>
