The staff were very friendly and helpful. Daily breakfast was a plus and very good. It was certainly more than just pastries and coffee. It really helped cut back on eating costs during the day. Only downside was that the room I was put in appeared to have water damage on the floor near the bathroom. Not sure if it was black mold or not but didn’t have any ‘sick’ symptoms present when staying there. The complimentary toiletries weren’t refreshed daily as I’d requested, and no food or drinks are allowed in the rooms whatsoever. Not sure why they have a mini fridge in the room if you’re not allowed to use it. Logistically the hotel is in walking distance to the train and local food spots and shopping. The nearest Pharmacie is a bit over priced compared to others in the area so be aware if you are looking to buy Parisian skin care. I would definitely stay here again simply because of the staff and the access to transport and tall the tourist sites.

Apollonaire is our “home” in Paris! This most recent stay was our seventh in the past five years. The location is convenient between the Edgar Quinet and Vavin Metro stations. There are an absolute wealth of restaurants from classics to budget friendly. There is a laundromat right next door. The reception desk is staffed 24 hours a day. There is an elevator. A/C works well and quietly in summer; heat is efficient in winter. All this, and the price is reasonable, especially by Paris standards. Apollonaire is my first choice always. There are several other hotels on Delambre, all convenient, but Apollonaire is still #1, and not just alphabetically!
