Avis pour Abode on Doe Pass | Winter Special - Dream Deer Valley Location with Hot Tub
Great place. Easy to get to city bus. App for shuttle or the parking lot 5 tram to lift. Wish I hah had a city bus route or known which to take back to the house from transit station.
Fantastic location with plenty of space â we really enjoyed our stay! The access to Deer Valley couldnât have been easier. Itâs about a three-minute walk to the people mover at the DV main parking lot, which drops you right at the front door of Snow Park Lodge. So convenient, especially in ski boots. After skiing each day, we loved walking down to the heated outdoor pool and hot tub â such a perfect way to end the afternoon. We also took the Park City bus one day (the stop is right outside the entrance to the complex) over to Park City Mountain, and it was incredibly easy and stress-free.Overall, the location, size, and value are truly top-notch, and I would absolutely recommend staying here. The only reason Iâm not giving five stars is that the unit is a bit dark due to neighboring buildings on each side. Otherwise, it was a great stay!
We loved our stay in Deer Valley! The property is beautifully designed (everything accurate as shown in photos) and just a short walking distance from the ski area. Check in was easy and any questions were answered promptly. Would definitely stay here again.
We booked this townhouse. After we booked, we were told the property was unavailable. The property manager did a nice job finding us a nice replacement. The place we stayed was very nice and in a good location. The only issue we had was poor internet service. I would stay at the place we stayed again.
Condo is beautifully decorated, roomy and comfortable. Easy access to Deer Valley Resort to walk, take the tram or use the door to door shuttle. Condo is well suited for families.
Property advertised no pets, but the owner clearly had dog(s), There was dog hair inside when we arrived on Friday. Hair was in Master bedroom on the chair and in the drawers. We had to use wet-ones to wipe out the drawers and shelving to be able to use them. We had to call the Abode management to get cleaners out who came on Saturday. No matter how much they cleaned, there must have been dander or hair in the HVAC system. I am allergic to dogs and cats, and I had an allergy attack which made it difficult for me to breath, especially at high elevation, which prevented me from skiing and ruined my trip. When we left the property for extended periods of time, my breathing improved, but every time I returned to the house, my difficulty breathing came back.
Short term rental properties should be REQUIRED TO REPORT PETS if the owners have pets, so this doesn't happen again to someone else.
Additionally, the property was a little tired and not like in the pictures, which were obviously from a few years ago. The master bedroom sliding door had frost on the inside. There was a small electric plug-in heater on the floor next to it, so the problem must have been there for a while.
While I'm sure the property was nice at one time, after all the costs and fees, I felt like this was a very bad choice and would have been happy to pay more for a nice rental that was as described and as pictured.
Abode management company was very responsive.
Bottom Line: Consumers need to be protected
The place was great it had plenty of room and the kitchen was well equipped and even have basic seasoning. No need get salt and pepper etc at the store. The bedrooms and sitting area were great. The property manager kept checking in. The only issue was getting around. The busses did not run frequently. Not sure if there was a driver shortage because of the pandemic. For some reason we needed an access code to go to a different base area for dinner. The girls/dads was a success and I would recommend the property. It is close to the St. gwevv
