The room smelled like weed. There was old food in the the fridge, and the front desk was very rude. There was also hair in the bed from the last guest. Wouldn’t go back there st all.

Needs lot of improvement but ok for 1 night. I don't appreciate seeing dark spots due to water leaks on the ceiling or peeling walls .... Will see breakfast tomorrow... Hopefully this hotel gets the improvement it needs. Staff A .

Great property very clean and peaceful. The staff seem to be new because they were learning how to work the computer for check in but they were nice. I felt inconvenienced because they had a very nice tv in the room but had no remote control so there was no way to turn on the tv. The front desk provided me with a remote but it didn’t work so I had to watch my phone. Then I used my tap feature on my phone to pay for the deposit but than I received a phone call later after I checked out saying they were not able to give me my deposit without the actual credit card so they ended up charging me and now I have to dispute the charge with my credit card company. So what looks good doesn’t always turn out good.

Dumpy, rundown, but it’ll do

Pros: Decent breakfast at 7 AM. Bed was passable. Cons (ready?): Concierge barely acknowledged me, then walked off to play YouTube ads and put on an obnoxious playlist. When he finally helped, he asked a dozen unnecessary questions despite my Hotels.com booking. Eventually, I just said, “How about I give you my name?” and he went, “Oh, okay,” and pulled up my room. One microwave for the whole building, in the eerie, cold lobby: broken. After 15 minutes of me trying to heat my food with the hot water dispenser, I asked again, “So, really, just one microwave?” “Just that one,” he says. Five minutes later, he suddenly remembers, “Oh, I guess I could use mine.” He had a working staff microwave 10 feet away. Security cameras in the covered parking lot busted. Garbage, liquor bottles, blunts everywhere. Hair on the bed. Hair in the shower drain. A used coffee pod left in the machine. TV satellite down all night—no channels. No hot water for a Saturday night shower, just a notch above cold. View from my window: an overflowing trash heap of broken furniture and loose garbage. Phone not just unplugged—missing its cord and buttons. A useless hunk of plastic. Bathroom fan switch ripped out. No exhaust fan. One elevator, taped-up sign all weekend: OUT OF ORDER. No kidding. This place is unacceptable. I give it two stars because it is a place to sleep in a town where I needed one. If you’re staying in Totowa, this is your only option. Get to breakfast early.

This place is garbage

The place was cold with very little heat spotty hot water and a staff that clearly didnt give a damm. Avoid this place and their careless staff. The add said microwave in room..nope didnt have that at all.

Okay for a night

Almost everything in the room was broken. It was decently clean and bed was comfortable for one night. Parking is a pain at night. Hallways were freezing. Heater in the room worked but is definitely outdated.

The first fridge didn’t work so they replaced it with a “new fridge” which had black mold inside of the freezer section. The bathroom also had mold or something covering on the light fixture in the bathroom. Orange juice, coffee, eggs and pancakes were not appetizing at all. They had a wine bottle opener we were able to use.
