Make yourself at home in this relaxing 3-bedroom Patton retreat. This one-story layout home features a king bed, queen bed, and twin bed, perfect for a family, group of friends, or romantic get-away. Enjoy the accessible bathroom with a no-step shower, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, washcloths, and hair dryer. This adorable, highly rated home is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay including central air conditioning, central heat, electric heated fireplaces, fully equipped kitchen, and a free washer and dryer with laundry soap and dryer sheets. Enjoy free off-street parking for 3 vehicles in the driveway with a carport, and large truck/trailer/toy hauler parking along the tree line.

We're happy to suggest local spots to check out such as excellent trout fishing in Chest Creek, which is walking distance (less than 50 yds away from Shady Pines) and short 10 min drives to our other great local attractions such as Rock Run ATV park and Prince Gallitzin State Park. We are a short drive (25 mins) to Penn State University-Altoona and (45-50 mins) to Penn State University-State College, where you will find the Bryce Jordan Center for concerts and other events and Beaver Stadium for Penn State football games. Feel free to reach out for directions, suggestions, questions...because as you know, the locals have all the good info!

This is by far the best vrbo rental we have had. The house is maticulous and the owner provides so many extras like coffee, spices, bathroom personal items
.you name it. Correspondence was excellent. We rented it in order to go to the Penn State game. We hope to go back someday even if it is just to enjoy the house.

House was great! Need to add a gas grill and fire pit. Also for four wheelers should have a hose for rinsing off the machines at the end of the day. Marybeth was easy to contact, close to Rock Run, fuel, and stores. Will definitely come back. Very conveniently located.

Great place to stay!

We went up to check out an atv place near by and decided to find a house to rent instead of a hotel and we are so glad we did! Had some early breakdowns so spent more time at the house then expected but it was perfectly fine. The house is on a nice, quiet corner lot. The inside is spacious and very welcoming! Even though we didnt get to ride much we still enjoyed our time. We plan to come again and will definitely stay here!
