Peaceful Adventure - Vacation Destination. Five acres of private fenced land in Prescott National Forest.

All the essentials and all the amenities, including BBQs, Huge Fire Pit, Smoker, Lounge areas all around. On a clear night, the stargazing is like nothing you've ever seen. Two bedrooms with Queen beds, one full bathroom, and an extra queen sized blow up mattress for the living room, if needed.

Less than 2 Hours to Grand Canyon. Less than 1 Hour to Historic Williams. 1.5 hours to Flagstaff. 15 min to Gunsite Shooting Range. 45 min to Prescott (Whiskey Row). 1.5 hours to Sedona. Come enjoy the cowboy country of Arizona and some really great food.

The host was very kind and generous. She made us Chicken Enchiladas the first night. Location is a bit out of the way, but not too far off of the local highway. It faces some National forest and is quiet and peaceful.

From the moment of arrival, we were greeted by THE SWEETEST lady "Gwen"...who literally made sure we had everything we needed for our 7 day/6 night stay...excellent breakfasts. We would HIGHLY recommend this hidden oasis.

Title: "An Unforgettable Stay with an Exceptional Host!" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gwyn's incredible property, and I can honestly say it was one of the best vacation experiences I've ever had! From the moment we arrived, Gwyn greeted us with warmth and genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. The house itself was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the cozy linens to the fully stocked kitchen. It truly felt like a home away from home! But what really made our stay special was Gwyn's attentiveness as a host. She was always available to answer questions and provided fantastic local recommendations that enhanced our trip. Whether it was suggesting the best restaurants or sharing insights about nearby attractions, her knowledge and enthusiasm made exploring the area a joy. And let's not forget the highlight of our stay: the wild owl that frequented the front yard! It was such a magical experience to see this magnificent creature up close. Gwyn even shared some fascinating facts about owls, making our encounter even more memorable. It was a perfect blend of nature and hospitality that we will cherish forever. Best in the West

This was our second time back- the first was so good we wanted a repeat. The home owner, Gwyn is a wonderful woman with a lifetime of unbelievable experiences. She’s a true gem in hospitality, history, and culture. We use her ranch as a home base to explore the Grand Canyon, Williams, Flagstaff, the top of the mountains, the Deer Farm, the new Williams roller coaster, the train ride at Railway, Sedona, Oak Creek, Cottonwoods, Jerome, and everything in between. Gwyn has a central location where nothing is more than about two hours in any direction. The home is lovely with great beds, sheets, TV room with recliners, a five acre property to wander, and a kitchen the size of Texas.

Great weekend

Shooting at Gunsite, this property is about 5 miles away. It is comfortable, quiet, and well stocked. Has a wonderful huge kitchen stove which we all enjoyed. Beds are comfortable. We will probably return. It was perfect for what we were looking for.

Peaceful quiet home away from home.

This was a peaceful quiet comfortable place for our family to rest after busy days during our Spring break. Gwyn immediately made us feel at home, and it felt like we were staying with our own grandma. We enjoyed the solitude out here. I sat on the porch in the morning at listened to the birds, and the quiet. The kids enjoyed exploring the 5 acre property and playing hide and go seek. I'm not really a VRBO guy. When my wife initially told me we were going to be staying in Paulden at someone else's house, I was skeptical, but I'm not now. I loved it here and would come back.

Delightful

Clean, quiet property with awesome western decor; perfect for this location out West. Gywn is a gem. She even brought Thanksgiving dinner for my husband and me since we had been on the road that Thursday. She is also a wealth of knowledge about the area. Plus, we were able to bring our dog. Really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely Host, Full Bellies, Centrally Located

Gwyn was gracious and helpful. She kept us very well fed and helped direct us to the areas of the state we wanted to visit (Grand Canyon and Sedona). The yard was huge and fit for our dog to run and explore. The morning silence was relaxing, and all you could hear were birds and the nearby horse. The kitchen was amazing, the tv was large, and the reclining chairs comfy. The beds were comfortable as well. We were very thankful to come across Gwyn’s listing!

Loved the property and enjoyed talking with owner. Her breakfast was top notch. Enjoyed the peace and quiet and the isolation that this property provides. We were able to sit out on the porch and star gaze, fired up fire pit and toasted marshmallows and made smores. The next door neighbor had a miniature horse and donkey. Our dog was fascinated by them.

Amazing experience

All I can say is wow...Gwyn went above and beyond what we expected. She made dinner and breakfast twice and all the food was amazing. Always available when we needed her. We will definitely come back and recommend her place to everybody.

I was not sure of the exact time that I would be arriving on site due to driving from home. Gywn and I were in communication due to her normally making dinner for guests. I truly appreciated her thoughtfulness and kind gesture. I had made errors in the day I was to arrive and depart and was lucky enough that she was able to accommodate me for two extra days. She is a VERY conscientious and gracious host. She made sure I knew where everything was and how to use the kitchen appliances (she has a very complete chef’s kitchen). The site is backed up to National Forest and so it’s very quiet and you can see the Milky Way at night. She spent time (at my inquiry) telling me about the history of the area and the animals that inhabit it. I had the pleasure of a Great Horned Owl outside my window one morning. She gave me directions to stores I wanted to visit and was generally there for me if and when I needed her. This home is SO lovely and comfortable and cute and the words that comes to mind is: An Oasis.

Lots of TLC

This relaxing property is in the foothills and edge of the Prescott National Forest. This was our first time to Paulden, so we didn't realize that "forest" here does not mean pine forest - we were not at sufficient elevation for that. It is near a lot of open space juniper scrub national forest land, lots of quiet. So it was our first time and the forest was not quite what we expected, but the stay was really great. Gwyn welcomed us and our dog very warmly. She is a generous and great cook - she had baked goods and snacks always out, and served two delicious hot breakfasts and a dinner during our stay. Gwyn and her property are a special local treasure of a place, I would say - a place to go when you want to be far away from noise and city, and a place to be well taken care of and relax.
