Rules & Regulations
- Small dogs (30 lbs and under) may be considered with individual approval and a $200+ pet fee. Please contact/email for approval before reserving with pets. Pets are prohibited unless specifically approved in advance. Guest is responsible to know and follow all State and County laws and regulations concerning pets.
- Litchfield by the Sea will charge $5 per day, per car for parking passes. One pass is included in your reservation. If any additional passes are needed, you will need to contact our office prior to arrival
- No Smoking (Minimum of $500 penalty assessed)
- No grills/open flames allowed on porch(s)
- No Loud Music/Noise
- Must be at least 25 years of age to rent
- Pets Allowed (Minimum of $500 penalty assessed if not approved prior to stay)
- Motorcycles, jet skis, RVs, campers, trailers, and trailered boats are not allowed in Litchfield by the Sea
- Please note that to enter the property you will have to climb a set of stairs. **There is no elevator at this property**

Litchfield by the Sea is the perfect location for a family vacation or getaway with friends! Regardless of the reason, the Pawley's Island area is far enough from the traffic and crowds, but still, a short drive to the wide variety of attractions, shopping, dining, and entertainment. The area is a golfer's delight with many top-rated courses within a 15 minute drive, restaurants and shops are a abundant and easily accessible from this property. Just a short drive north are all the attractions and shopping of Myrtle Beach, Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand shopping center, the Myrtle Beach boardwalk, and one of the world's largest Ferris wheels. For a unique cultural experience, Brookgreen Gardens displays one of the world's largest collections of sculpture by American artists in a lush outdoor setting, along with a zoo and butterfly garden, it's just a few minutes south on Business 17. Murrells Inlet is also just a short drive to the north and features the world famous Marsh Walk, with incredible dining and shopping and exciting water activities such as fishing, boating and the ever popular dolphin cruises!

*The LBTS Owner's Board of Directors passed a new admission fee to be known as a "Resort Fee" for all vacation renters. All owners or their rental agents are required to collect and remit the funds for renters arriving after January 1, 2024. Funds collected will be used to offset wear and tear, develop new amenities, and support major improvements. Effective Date 1/1/24 - $15 per night charge (max charge is $210 per rental).

Uncomfortable stay

Was not clean. Had to wait 40 minutes past check in on the cleaning people, only to find it half cleaned. Dirty carpets, blood stain on the comforter. Outdoor furniture as living room furniture was not very comfortable. Other issues I won’t detail, but we should have been offered some type of credit for these issues. Mandy was very nice.

House was nice. Great it was pet friendly. Main porch screen door needs trim at bottom repaired. It’s come off the door and sticks out. Whicker furniture on that porch is falling apart. Small white pieces fall off when using. Bed in master did not appear to be a queen as advertised. Full size ? Kitchen well stocked. Living room furniture not too comfortable as it is outdoor furniture being used indoors. Main bathroom could use updating. Overall- great house. Clean. Decorated nicely Will NEVER book another property with iTrip involved. They do not answer the phone. We Had questions during months leading up to arrival date and could only send a message. Even asked in message to call us and they would not. Ask them a question via message and they reply with “look back to the email we sent”. Terrible customer service!! Few days prior to arrival they did reach out via text and we could text back. NOT a fan of that company. VRBO is great. ITrip is horrible

Great spot, everything you need

We had a great time at Oyster Catcher Lane. The house is very cute, clean and cozy. We especially liked how well stocked the kitchen was with plenty of kitchen ware. Overall suck a great little cottage!
