Not close getting around for handicap people, food was expensive. Ride on bus to. See the Grand canyon was great.

Great Stay

We had an amazing stay at the cabins. Accommodation was really nice and quaint, with a peaceful setting and pleasant views. We walked the nearby trails at sunrise and that was brilliant with no other people about. Real benefit of staying here is it allows you the two days access to the Grand Canyon West - what worked for us really well was it meant we could stay in the park until sunset and then get in there first thing the next stay, avoiding all the crowds from the coach tours. Would definitely recommend

The property was beautiful with trails next to the canyon with spectacular views. It was quiet and relaxing for the 1 night stay we were there. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The cabin was rustic and quaint with everything we needed. Some things we did not care for included the bed and pillows being extremely firm and difficult to sleep on. The blinds did not work in one window but we were able to use my hair clips to close the wooden blinds for the night. The air conditioner did not stay on through the night. There is a restaurant there while limited, it is pretty good. Lastly, it seemed rather frequent that the office person had their "be back in 15min sign" out or not available when we checked out early in the morning (6am ish). We enjoyed ourselves while out on the property but unfortunately would not stay there again.

Overall, my stay at the Cabins at Grand Canyon West was a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth and easy. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable, and I didn’t have any major issues during my stay. That said, there were a few things that could be improved. Communication can be a challenge — there’s no phone service in the area, and the Wi-Fi was very weak. It seemed to only work near the reception area, which made it hard to stay connected when needed. Also, basic amenities like toothpaste were not provided in the cabin, so be sure to bring your own. Aside from that, it’s a peaceful, beautiful area — perfect for a quiet getaway from the crowds. If you’re looking to unplug and enjoy nature, this is a great spot. Just plan ahead for the lack of connectivity and pack accordingly!

Check-in was quick and easy. We loved taking the hike from our cabin. The cabin was lively but missing some essential items (tables between chairs, next to fridge, in bathroom). I had to set my coffee cup on the floor. The heater went off every 10 minutes so it was hard to sleep. It was amazing seeing the Grand Canyon out our front door. Anita was awesome!!

Canyon almost at your doorstep

Loved the location and helpful staff. The ability to reach a couple of gorgeous canyon rim points from the room with a short walk or bike ride (rentals available on property) is great. These points allow you to experience the amazing canyon without the distraction of crowds, which is terrific. Rooms are cozy and well appointed too.

Wonderful stay; the staff—Joyce and Chamvis, and the sweet guy at the restaurant who looks to be in his 20s but can actually count back change (which impressed 53-year-old me) were particularly gracious and thoughtful. Will never forget! Thank you!

We loved staying at the cabins. Everything is great, a light in the closet would be much helpful. Be prepared with food and wateras the options are limited. Everything food and water closes after 5:30 PM in the evening until 9AM next day.

Prachtige locatie midden in de woestijn – voorbereid zijn loont! Wat een bijzondere ervaring! Deze accommodatie ligt echt op een toplocatie, midden in de woestijn. De rust, de omgeving, en de sterrenhemel ’s nachts zijn echt magisch. De kamer was netjes, en er stond een magnetron en een koffiezetapparaat klaar – superfijn als je even zelf iets wilt maken. Let wel op: restaurants in de omgeving sluiten al rond 17:00, dus het is slim om vooraf boodschappen te doen. Wij kwamen rond 19:00 aan, maar gelukkig hadden we eten meegenomen – aanrader dus, zeker als je meerdere nachten blijft. Het dichtstbijzijnde stadje ligt zo’n 40 à 50 kilometer verderop, dus het is handig om alles wat je nodig hebt al bij je te hebben.
